Why couldn't it have been OUR president? (U.S.)
Why would you want anybody dead
Why couldn't it have been OUR president? (U.S.)
Isn't saying that illegal?
Isn't saying that illegal?
Yes, I'm pretty sure it's up to the Secret Service to investigate or something.
Why couldn't it have been OUR president? (U.S.)
Why couldn't it have been you?
I am surprised there isn't more investigation into the cause of the crash, seems most people are just accepting that it was an error due to fog and the plane caught the top of the trees but as there were so many high up Polish politicians and general residents I would of thought a huge investigation would be carried out into the cause.
Putin is going to investigate in fact he's meeting Tusk later. Also, they found Kaczynski's body.
I'm late but, fuck man that's horrible.
And so on our country doesn't have president... I sense something very bad is going to happen.
:frown: This is too sad to make a pun for and whoever does is an insensitive jackass :colbert:
To clear some shit up, i'm from poland but i live in sweden. Heard of this almost immedietly since we use polish TV. The Tupolev plane that was used was infact old, 20 years old but it had been overhauled this year by the tupolev factory. I read somewhere at the first page that it wouldn't be ironic unless it crashed in germany, man you gotta learn some history. The fact that poland was occupied by russians until the soviet union fell and also buttfucked during WW2 by the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. Your historical incompetence is nothing more than a big facepalm for me. Nonetheless this is a big tragedy but at the same time it's a huge opportunity for Poland. The fact that PIS (the politic party that died) where against russia in one or another way make this something very special. The bond between russia and poland will be much better since Tusk tried to create a better bond with Putin while Kaczynski was more against it. Putin is already on his way to the crash aswell as Tusk. And there is a weeks mourning in all of Poland aswell as in Russia. Also for you who said that it would be a ironic only if it crashed in germany. I just had to say that you suck so much ass at history that it is sad. The reason they were going to Russia was because of the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre where russian slaughter a couple of thousand of Polish generals, captains and otehr "Intellectuals". Learn some history man; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn I am also very sorry if i've had some misspellings but i'm really tired after having an test for 8 hours today.
The fact that poland was occupied by russians until the soviet union fell

Your historical incompetence is nothing more than a big facepalm for me
Read it yourself.
Read it yourself.
Are you implying that russia and the soviet union wasn't the same thing? Or have i just misjudged your post?
Why do I feel the strong need to make a pun?! I almost never make fun of people's deaths...
Well, it was inevitable. Poles can't fly!
Are you implying that russia and the soviet union wasn't the same thing? Or have i just misjudged your post?
They weren't - it was only the Politburo who could "apply pressure" on satellite states - as demonstrated in the eighties.
Are you implying that russia and the soviet union wasn't the same thing? Or have i just misjudged your post?
Russia and Soviet Union wasn't the same thing, yes. Russia was one of Soviet Republics it it, like Georgia, Ukraine and others. Russian Soviet Federative Socialistic Republic, RSFSR. I hope I spelt it correctly in English. But that's not that I want to say. Poland wasn't occupied, it was part of Warsaw Pact, a satellite if you want. There was it's own government, parliament and other. It was independent, and wasn't ruled complitely from Moscow - that's not an occupation, really. But I agree. It was just like that, Poland was a satellite of the USSR. But you're telling others about their 'historical incompetence', so try to be correct.
Wow. That's tragic. Here comes political instability...
I mean, computer parts are THREE TIMES the UK price.
what Also, in Poland you can buy Bad Company 2 up to four times cheaper than on Steam.

While speaking of Soviet/USSR/CCCP whatever you want to call it you generally imply on russia since the staff Kalinin and later on Stalin had their seats in Moscow and because i doubt that other soviet republics like georgia had influence on for an example "Stan wojenny" ( Sorry don't know what it is called in english, oh wait here it was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Wojenny). However, it was Russians that made the slaughter in Katyn. And i'm 99% sure about that, if you can prove me wrong i will take back my statement. Once again sorry for misspellings.
Fuck, we need a new president now.
Fuck, we need a new president now.
Komorowski will be elected as pre-election president or what it's called
Tragic
As it turns out, the plane that carried them, a Tupolev-154, has a pretty long accident record. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-154#Incidents
Oh fuck shit oh god oh man
Are you implying that russia and the soviet union wasn't the same thing? Or have i just misjudged your post?
Warsaw Pact dude.
As it turns out, the plane that carried them, a Tupolev-154, has a pretty long accident record. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-154#Incidents
Western aircraft would have an even longer accident record if maintained by eastern-block personal. Flight safety was never really strict in the Eastern block and Soviet union. The Tu154M is one of the most robust passenger aircraft there are.
The aftermath of this crash will at least show how robust (or not) the Polish political system is.
Well, it was inevitable. Poles can't fly!
Shut the fuck up. While I didn't liked half of those people, they are only people, and they died. Fuck.
Poor poland. :frown:
I'm not sure if anyone said this already but.. The control tower at the airport told them to abort the landing after they were too low and too fast! The pilot did not listen to them. What the fuck is with that?

We (Russians) believe that these fuckheads had no nation - they were like terrorists for us too.
