uace? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uganda_Advanced_Certificate_of_Education
That was supposed to be "have" but I must have suffered a massive stroke or something.
Problem is that we're probably not even killing them. We're probably doing more harm than good. I honestly don't believe these bombings are getting things done.
Ya reading the article, we are bombing targets such as berms, holes, empty roads, groups of people on top of berms, ditches, groups of people in ditches, shacks along roads, convoys of people on the roads and plenty of buildings in the cities I'm not saying we should go full Russia and just bomb anywhere but some of those targets look pretty unimportant for the effort of bombing them
Whats wrong with that? ISIS probably exists because of Bush. And ISIS is affecting everyone. If we spent half of our defense budget on any one of the issues that actually take place in the our country, we could do fantastic things. People feel like you do because of 40 years of brainwashing lead you to believe the military industrial complex is necessary. By the way - if you take Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Etc. out of the defense industry - the market will be flooded with our most talented engineers The reality is, if we fix our own country, we actually end up doing more good for the world then we could ever do killing terrorists. The USA is a cultural and media hub of the world, having things good here will affect everyone! Terrorists exist because we suck as people. If we suck less as people - terrorists have no reason to exist.
So what I'm getting is that our failures in the middle east completely negate any good we've done by creating stability everywhere else in the world? And advancements made in both government and civilian sectors haven't enriched the rest of the world in anyway? We're not the greatest nation, but god damn saying our problems are a result of 40 years of brainwashing seems extremely simplified, neglects the whole disolusionment with anything military after Vietnam, and a salp to the face of many millions of Americans who try their hardest to make a positive difference in the world.
a salp to the face of many millions of Americans who try their hardest to make a positive difference in the world.
That's the unfortunate bit. There are those who exist in this country who are legitimately amazing people. Those people do not run the government anymore. And yes I think the US has enhanced the world in many ways, but I also feel not in many ways that really matter, especially when we could be doing much better. It's the underlying culture that is hurting the world, more then most people choose to accept. There are many people who believe this country is the greatest true source of evil in the world. There needs to be a massive cultural shift in the country for things to get better. People need to start valuing life more than money. They need to become more spiritual over blind faith. There is a reason why people like George Carlin and Hunter Thompson noticed a country that was slowly falling asleep - any it's only gotten worse since their deaths.
