You'd think they'd notice sooner. Large companies don't take their parking space lightly.
Pffft.
Their security must suck dong. When I worked security for a hardware store we had 6 squads show up for a car that had been left on the lot for 3 days
I don't think it's fair to blame security. It's not their job to walk the parking lot and get cars towed. They're hired to apprehend shoplifters and stuff. Infact it's against policy for them to even go into the parking lot. They can't leave the store or go off the curb. And Walmart parking lots are always busy and there is a ton of over night parking.
I fail to see how nobody would notice a car like this that's parked for months. Did none of the employees think it was suspicious a car never moved? Consider it abandoned or something?
No. You just wouldn't notice it Have you ever worked a job and been paid shit to do that job? Trust me, you don't look for out of place shit because you're not getting paid more to do so, and you won't be even given a thank you for going above and beyond so why bother
Meanwhile in some towns around here you can't pull over in front of someone's house without someone calling the police. :v:

I never knew Walmart security were this dedicated.

A lone car might not stand out in a day, but usually after 3-4 days just from glancing through the parking lot at the cameras I could tell if a car had been parked there for a long time. That's not being attentive, that's recognizing patterns.
Might be a stretch, but maybe no one noticed because wal-marts allow people to spend the night in cars/motor homes in their parking lots. Dont know how 3 weeks could've happened, but maybe they assumed they came and left and came back?
Most stores do not own the paring lot. They pay to lease it. Also, in Canada at least walmart does not allow over igut parking anymore because of people cooking meth at night.
