This is gonna get bad real quick.
Oh shit. This is gonna get bad. Why do people always resort to violence? Violence only makes things worse.
I was really hoping this race shit wouldn't hit my hometown so hard, looks like it's too late. Hopefully it's over before I go home.
NBC news live feed of this event is currently a camera on the ground. nice view of some legs and people standing around.
someone hocked a loogie right in front of the camera so that's nice footage we've got here of live events happening right now.
edit: ok theyve picked up the camera, walked around a bit, news lady walked into the center of a crowd of people and went "uhh guys yeah im doing a look-live for my network." because people were too close to her. then we went to black.
thanks nbc sick im glad you guys are giving me a live look here

Don't worry, NBC are just positioning their cameras to make sure they capture as little rioting as possible in order to maintain their narrative.

thanks friend
I used to live in Charlotte almost a decade ago when I was a kid, makes me hope nobody I knew from back then is in danger tonight.
At the same time, I really hope things don't get any worse. We've had so many freakin' race riots (let's call a spade a spade, shall we?) this year that it's getting very depressing on both sides of the equation.
Why can't people just get along and admit that everyone's got problems, and work together to fix them?
In a better world, perhaps that's how things would work out. Sadly, this is not that "better world" in reality as of now.
A CNN reporter got assaulted on air (0:34)

protesters/rioters running down the highway? fox just showed a quick clip of this.
reporter just got tear gas in his eyes and he's groaning over and over and i think he's taking oblivion poison damage right now

Some guy on Periscope recording this. I heard a boom and bottles being thrown.
EDIT: His phone just died. Before that some guy was stealing something and a lot of yelling can be heard.
EDIT 2: I decided to watch it from the start. Some guy ate a slice of pizza on the ground with an ant on it. Not important, but rather humorous.

flash bangs are frequent, and a tactic to scare people away. protesters respond by throwing bottles.
The national guard is now being deployed.

Because people cannot be honest with themselves about what the problems actually are. The victimhood mentality poisons the mind against this. Because its much easier to blame others than it is to accept responsibility for one's situation. That's why you often see slavery, which was abolished 151 years ago constantly brought up. Why "reparations" get brought up. These people want a free ride through life. They don't want to accept responsibility for their life situation.
I saw this happen with a family member. He constantly blames shit that happened over 30 years ago for his current life situation. And has constantly demanded "reparations" from his own mother even though she had literally nothing to do with it. Will be interesting to see how things go now since everyone he blamed for "wronging" him is now dead.
State of Emergency declared aswell
Rioters now blockading the highway and trying to stop cars. Someone is gonna get killed.

The state of emergency is so that the National Guard can be deployed. I just watched CNN interview the governor. He said it was needed due to the laws around deploying National Guard. They were just waiting for the police chief to make the request which just happened. The National Guard is being deployed to protect buildings and assets so that the police force is freed to be in the streets. Its all about freeing up police resources to do their job.
BLM is so fucking retarded jfc
BLM is so fucking retarded jfc
They have set the public outlook on protestors so far back.
Just waiting for the governing bodies to crack down on them hard.

Seems someone took some cell phone photo that shows the guy that got shot by police had a weapon. Contrary to BLM and the guy's family statements.

Um, someone already did?
Sorry Facepunch, you may not know this but black people are allowed to carry guns in America too. You honestly believe the same situation would have gone down if it was a white person?
From the report:
"Police spokesman Keith Trietley said in a statement that Charlotte police officers had gone to an apartment complex on the city’s
north-east side about 4pm looking for a suspect with an outstanding warrant when they saw Scott – who was not the suspect they were looking for – inside a car.
Officers said they saw Scott get out of the car with a gun and then get back in, Trietley said. When officers approached,
the man exited the car with the gun again. At that point, officers deemed the man a threat and at least one fired a weapon, he said."
They weren't even looking for the guy and they saw him with a gun in his car, they decided to go harass him and when he didn't listen, he was shot.
You fuckboys will take any tidbit of information that feeds your bias and run with it. The fact of the matter is you guys use shit arguments like "rioters are not doing anything for the cause", this isn't the 1960's and protesters aren't going to get hosed or beaten for peacefully protesting anymore by racist white southerns. Violence is the language of the unheard, and black people like it or not are 2nd class citizens in America, look up gentrification, racist zoning laws, what % of black people are in poverty compared to whites, what % of black people are imprisoned compared to whites, tuskegee syphilis experiment, the FBI director telling Martin Luther King Jr. to kill himself in an anonymous letter and giving his wife a fake sex tape, the dozens of black teens who have been shot in the past 10 years is insanity.
The last legally owned slave died in 1970. 1970 fucking 70, and you want to tell me there aren't deeply embedded and explicit reasons why black people feel like they have been thoroughly fucked in America.
No one gives a fuck what you guys think of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
A small list of white people who have pointed or brandished guns and not been shot:

I'd like you to try to find a list this big of black people who have pointed guns at cops and survived.
This is about the systematic characterization of black people as violent , and stupid by the media. when they were literally given nothing after they were released from slavery and were expected to "Figure it out" but weren't able to vote south of the dixon mason line because of Jim Crow anti-voting laws that lasted into the 1970's and to some extent still exist today. (News flash being kept in cyclic generation poverty forces people to be violent and offers little in the way of education or freedom from the cycle)

None of this justifies riots lmao.
Also, being violent doesn't help people to stop categorizing you as violent.

It's not the job of the oppressed to try to maintain a good image to the majority, when the majority painted them as degenerates in the first place. Get down from your middle class suburban Ivory Tower and swap lives with an African American and tell me you wouldn't hate the government.
Violence is the only political choice left for black people who feel so powerless in the system that keeps them in the ghettos. State terrorism demands rioting, and you're very uninformed if you think "rioting is never justified".
People who are complicit in the systematic oppression are just as guilty.

Have you considered that you might be a bit loony?
You are basically advocating race based violence.

No I'm not, I'm saying people are justified in rioting when the state (The US Government) repeatedly performs acts of terrorism on people based on their skin color.
"I think that niggas is tired of grabbin' shit out the stores and next time it’s a riot there’s gonna be, like, uh, bloodshed for real. I don’t think America know that. I think American think we was just playing and it’s gonna be some more playing but it ain’t gonna be no playing. It’s gonna be murder, you know what I’m saying, it’s gonna be like Nat Turner, 1831, up in this muthafucka. You know what I’m saying, it’s gonna happen"
No I'm not, I'm saying people are justified in rioting when the state (The US Government) repeatedly performs acts of terrorism on people based on their skin color.
It is a good thing that the US government isn't performing "state terrorism" then.
So how does a black officer being the one who shot him fit into your lovely narrative?
I guess it simply being bad police training wouldn't be worth rioting over.
No I'm not, I'm saying people are justified in rioting when the state (The US Government) repeatedly performs acts of terrorism on people based on their skin color.
acts of terrorism? lol. You're delusional. You really think this rioting is good? They're harming reporters, they're destroying property. That's not helping anybody.
Also what the fuck is the point of the Tupac quote besides confirming your a loon who wants to drive up racial tensions for some inevitable race war in your head.
It is a good thing that the US government isn't performing "state terrorism" then.
Sorry but the power of the government doesn't justify the government to perform terrorism, get educated.

The point is there will be a revolution if the system doesn't stop oppressing people. You cant fucking deny the criminal convictions and the racism of the justice system.
