I can't get the stream to work. The player will launch the commercial, and then simply go black without connecting me to the debate :(
Oh, that'd explain it! Bummer!
Can the OP edit his post so that it informs people that the debate is over? Perhaps post some YouTube links to parts of the debate?
It's over...?
FUCK!! I wanted to see something comical.
Ron Paul 2012
Newt says Electromagnetic pulse attack is one of America's greatest threats. Someone's been playing too much Homefront.
It's not that far-fetched.
A single EMP of enough magnitude could effectively wipe out most cars and electricity in the entire country for a long time.
"Well, Ms. Rich White Woman, what is your opinion on X?"
"OBAMA MAGNETS ILLEGALS IRAN"
"And what about you, Mr. Rich White Man?"
"CHINA MUSLIMS ISRAEL NUCLEAR"
Obama 2012 vs. Ron Paul or Huntsman GOP candidate 2012
Or, more realistically, Mitt Romney GOP vs. Obama 2012.
A friend told me Ron Paul is going amazingly strong in Iowa right now. No idea if that's true or not, I've yet to check for myself.
Here's hoping, though.
Lets go Ron Paul.

Compared to everything else, I don't think its really that high on threats to national security
Compared to everything else, I don't think its really that high on threats to national security
A powerful enough EMP could potentially cause more casualties than a nuclear weapon.
A powerful enough EMP could potentially cause more casualties than a nuclear weapon.
A large scale emp weapon IS a nuclear weapon. There's basically nothing else that can put out that much whatever the fuck it is that shuts down electronics.
A powerful enough EMP could potentially cause more casualties than a nuclear weapon.
Why would anyone deploy such a weapon on that scale? It isn't practical at all.
Any country that would have the resources to do so would devastate its economy in the process of bringing down the U.S.
aw yes, the 2356th 2011 GOP Debate.

"Terribly sorry, I meant Mr. Rich White Man in a Brown Latex Suit."
Ron Paul revolution!
I am actually a massive Huntsman fan. I agree with, or at least don't mind almost all of his stances, and he seems like his foreign relation skills would be sublime.
ah yes ron paul
who needs freedom of choice, environmental conservation, or wage equality anyway??

I actually can't stand behind Ron Paul after watching him in some of these debates. Sure, he sticks to his beliefs, but damn, some of those beliefs are just fucking crazy.
why is sticking to your beliefs a good quality anyway?
"oh sure he wants to annihilate the jews and conquer the martian peoples but i respect the fact that he sticks to his beliefs even when proven to be completely wrong!"
Obama will win. Why would you choose Ron Paul over Obama
ah yes ron paul

I could never vote for Ron Paul. At best I'd want him as Secretary of Defense.

No it's more about the fact that the person will stick to their values, and doesn't just say what sounds good only to end up doing something completely different when elected.

I agree. Huntsman 2012
No it's more about the fact that the person will stick to their values, and doesn't just say what sounds good only to end up doing something completely different when elected.
well i hope they do what is best for the entire nation, if that is different from what they were saying before that is fine.
when Obama was campaigning he said he wasn't for gay marriage, but now that he's been elected the story has changed.
I think Ron Paul would make a good president
I think Ron Paul would make a good president
Why?
I was surprised when Ron Paul said lets legalize weed and end the war on drugs and the crowd erupts in applause.

I'd rather have a president interested in public works programs that actually put folks to work and getting campaign finance in order than one interested in deregulation and getting rid of taxes. Sadly Obama is not the former, but Ron Paul is most certainly the latter, the worst kind of candidate.
