• French Workers remain defiant as Sarkozy cracks down on strikers

Honestly, these strikes are justified entirely. If the government want to be dicks about it then so be it, French people are quite fond of their prolonged rioting.
Now that I think about it, throughout history the French have gone out and raised hell in the streets. Must be a national past time.
Viva la revolution....oh wait
So when do they break out the guillotine?
[img_thumb]http://www.historycanbefun.com/pics/india/06-gandi-wene.jpg[/img_thumb] Agreed.
You were saying...?
So when do they break out the guillotine?
France, going forward with violence? Next you'll hear them waging in world wars and not surrendering. :v:
We like to burn some shit. My high school is blocked since saturday. Also the majority of french know why they are on strike. News just like to show riots.
Let's hope another Corsican Midget doesn't take control in France and conquer half of Europe.
I really don't get why France is in such an uproar. Pension age is going from 60 to 62, big fucking deal, it's been 65 in the Netherlands for years. Stupid thing is that a lot of young people are rioting. Can somebody explain that to me.
then the age goes to 65. then it goes to 67. then to 69. then to 70. then to 75. then to 78....
then the age goes to 65. then it goes to 67. then to 69. then to 70. then to 75. then to 78....
Not in Belgium it didn't. We've been at 65 for a long time now, and they don't want to change it. Now, we are about the only European country that doesn't have people pay for highway use, so I'm pretty sure we're missing out on a lot of cash.

If you make studies you are fucked. If you don't you are, anyway.

South Korea has Starcraft, we have strikes. People are on also because what Sarkozy has done since two years is totally shitty. Everything he did was towards the high classes. Not a single things has been done for the workers. My highschool has been blocked since last Thursay, and people know why they're on strike. But of course there'll always be assholes who burn cars.
For today's forecast we have a high pressure car front mixing with a fire system and it'll be bringing some signs and black flames throughout various parts of the country. Those in the northwest should be on the lookout for a category 17 car front expected to make landfall Saturday
I was just about to comment on this ridiculous picture but it appears Zeke the weather forecaster had it covered.

Fucking French Communist scumbags.
But France is seriously screwed with an aging population if it doesn't do this.
No ur wrong everything will be alright when most of the population is old you'll see look at other countries where almost no one worked like Gree...
Oh, like Canada? I hear it's a real hell hole for the working man with their pension age of 65. Lazy fucking scum.
TH89 permabanned VintageDinger in Czech neo-Nazis jailed for arson attack on Roma with the reason “Racism, advocating lynching”
If I was Sarkozy, I'd keep raising the age until the protests end. If they ended that day, put it back down to normal.
Block places with cars. Take keys out. Go home.
But France is seriously screwed with an aging population if it doesn't do this.
Actually, if we were to work until 62 it would be ok, except for hard works, where your back is already close to nonexistent after 20 years. But the problem it that it's not "you can stop working after 65", it's "you can stop working after 42,5 years of work." Most people start working at, let's say, 22 years old. That means they'd be working at least until 66. And there's really low chances that you'd work continuously during 42 years. So that's 68 (in the best cases) years old. And then , if you lose your job when you're 50-55, ho, snap, you'll have really low chances of finding a job back. In the end, you'd retire at 72 or more. tl;dr : it's not a problem of working until 62, it's a problem of working 42 years.
