What about Robert Mugabe's regime in Zimbabwe?

And the Haitian genocide of 1804

Are we going to ignore the British treatment of the Irish, the Soviet treatment of the Ukrainians, the Serbian suppression of the Balkan Slavic groups (in Yugoslavia)
Or do they not count

I think his point was "in the United States", although the Italians and the Irish still blow that argument out of the water.

Isn't that more about nationality and not race? Last I checked the irish were white too

Race and ethnicity are not just skin color. Honestly "white" is really a concept that originated primarily in America, Europe has a long history of ethnic tensions within races that all meet the modern definition of "white" (see: English and everyone bordering/across the channel from England, Swedes and Danes, Croats and Serbs, Poles and Lithuanians, Russians and everyone bordering Russia).

Or the thousands of Kazakhs massacred in China in the 50s/60s
We're going to riot over a single person getting shot in small town Missouri, but nobody gives a fuck Russia invaded and annexed 10,000 square miles of Ukraine while the UN sits back and does nothing. Talk about setting our priorities straight.

Just because something shitty happened elsewhere in the world doesn't mean people have to stop caring about everything that happens at home.
You are right we should fly out everyone in Ferguson to Russia to riot there good plan

The day you start ignoring all of your own problems and only care about bigger issues elsewhere in the world, I'll stop thinking this is a stupid post.
Glad that he wasn't charged. Now crack down on the violent thugs rioting.

Don't compare problems. They're all problems, and they all need solved, so trying to push one is just ignorant.

People prioritizing national events over international. Imagine that.
Are the riots going to continue during the day? Will they start up again like they were last night in the days to come?

People here did protest that, however these people are protesting a domestic issue, which means a lot more to them then some dick waving half the world away. Gotta take care of your own issues first before you start to bitch about everyone elses.
So has Ferguson burned to the ground while I was sleeping?
Imagine prosecuting somebody with no evidence.
Oh, it's a cop? Don't worry then, it'd be OK.
What, you're not going to prosecute him? What do you mean there's no evidence? Clearly this is some sort of corruption on the part of the state, they would obviously choose to defend one cop rather than take the easy route which would placate the mobs of people who are set to demolish an entire town through rioting.
There's no evidence at all.

but it's ok.
Honestly though, what could indicting him hurt? It would basically just be a more thorough examination of the evidence right? And he'd have his lawyer to cross-examine and shit. He'd have the charges, but it's not like he would be denied bond or anything. Right?
When you make peaceful protest impossible, you make violent protest inevitable.

It would be extremely expensive and time-consuming. Finding an impartial jury would be all but impossible and the whole thing would cause an even greater media clusterfuck than this already has.

It would put him into a position where a false conviction would be possible.
Yeah like I don't think Mike Brown is the greatest poster child for police slayings but if it were a civilian shooting in a controversial self defense claim would they not have to stand trial? Marissa Alexander got 20 years for a fucking warning shot

Well, that's kinda what this whole thing was about. The answer is no according to the grand jury.
This was about the 2011 riots in the UK, but it's doubly relevant for the situation stateside.

Excellent counter to the shitlib narrative.

Yeah I know. I'm just saying I disagree with that decision, even if I don't necessarily believe he is guilty

Actually she got 4 years, she accepted a plea deal. Yes agree her case was bullshit, they need to rework the law because of that. Brown and the cop got into a scuffle, of which the cop ended up shooting Brown. The witnesses who claimed brown got shot in the back( Which this helped start riots I may add) were proven to be liars(by the autopsies). Plenty of evidence was shown to the jury, who then used that evidence to make the decision. None of us were there, we didn't see what happened, nor were we in the jury. Get over it, the fucking case is closed, the Justice system works. When it comes to the Brown case, make cops wear body cameras, make it so they can't switch it off when they want, and I guarantee this will stop being a huge problem. I may add I am kind of just ranting at everything at this point, and I don't mean to offend anyone. Love you all <3
