Just watched this 3 times I approve.
I'm glad that people getting hurt sates your bloodlust.
Ferguson itself is largely under control (besides protesters throwing shit at the cops and nearly flipping a cop car over earlier tonight) but there are some large protests popping up nationwide, notably NYC and Oakland. Last night was the big shitstorm, tear gas deployed all over town, rubber bullets, and about 21 fires started, not to mention the looting and destruction. http://abc7news.com/live/ Live feed of Oakland, currently doesn't look like there are any cops doing anything about it, but there are several cars w/ lights parked a block away. These guys have been walking around for a while now unimpeded.
That's just a typical day in Oakland, though
I'm glad that people getting hurt sates your bloodlust.
Generally, when you don't wish to be ran over, you avoid getting in the way of cars. You don't have the right to stop people getting where they need to go just because you're angry.
I'm glad that people getting hurt sates your bloodlust.
LET ME JUMP IN FRONT OF A MOVING VEHICLE NOTHING COULD EVER GO WRONG
Generally, when you don't wish to be ran over, you avoid getting in the way of cars. You don't have the right to stop people getting where they need to go just because you're angry.
Neither do those angry people have the right to simply drive over you for stopping them. Both are in the wrong to varying degrees. However, in this case, I'm inclined to side with the people who weren't using a two ton battering ram to smash into other human beings just for inconveniencing them.

Call the police? They're a bit tied up at the moment. And the person driving the car didn't maliciously run them over, he started driving through slow enough that people had the time to get out of the way and anyone coming into contact with his car is nudged slightly, then people dogpiled on the bonnet of his car blocking his view then he panics and drives forward too fast, realises he's knocked someone over and stops, but then people from all sides start banging on his car and trying to smash his windows so he gets the fuck out of dodge. It's like saying I pushed you over because I politely tried to squeeze past you while you occupied a doorway, but since you stubbornly refused to even let up and make some space for me, you ended up getting knocked over when I'm just innocently trying to get past giving you ample time to clear way.

I think the protests there are a bit more calm than Ferguson
this thread is officially more disgusting than it already was
IIRC this event happened in Minnesota. I think the protests there are a bit more calm than Ferguson
What relevance does this have?

Find another route. You do not run over human beings with a two ton vehicle just for standing in your way. Those screams are from a woman whose leg was crushed.

Why did he drive so slow? He should have plowed through them full throttle.
Trying to use a car to "nudge" people are out of the way is a bad idea, both the driver and the protestors are idiots. You see those people turning off to the side? back up and go over.
What relevance does this have?
your first line
What are they going to do about the people blocking their way exactly? Call the police? They're a bit tied up at the moment.

That is an interesting strategy. Take to the roads and drive through them like they aren't there. Would send a message quick. NOTE: I'm not saying commit acts of vehicular homicide. I'm not saying to do it, either. I simply said interesting strategy.
An aerial view. Dude could have easily just gone around the crowd, like every other driver.
Yeah, clearly he was just trying to start something judging from that view
Go around them, you fucking psychopath. Find another route. You do not run over human beings with a two ton vehicle just for standing in your way. Those screams are from a woman whose leg was crushed.
How about, instead of saying that the person driving should have done this or that, you blame the people who were blocking the road and jumping on his car. 1: None of this would have happened if they weren't in the road. 2: The driver wouldn't have surged forward quickly if a bunch of people didn't jump on his car. 3: The woman who got downed wouldn't have sustained anywhere near as much injury if the driver could both see in front of him and was able to calmly back away from the woman rather than worry about the people trying to smash into his car.
You guys don't know the situation, what if the driver was transporting someone to the hospital? What if he was running late to work and his job was in jeopardy because of them? What if he had to pick up his kids from school? We shouldn't jump to conclusions and automatically blame him for doing what he did. We don't know what he was thinking and he was clearly driving through them slowly to minimize any injuries.
this is surreal [editline]25th November 2014[/editline] idk maybe roll down your window and speak??
there's nothing alright with using an automobile to push through people by force what the fuck is wrong with all of you
everyone involved in that situation just flat out sucked one way or another, but it was all avoidable, again from both sides, and it's really hard to pick sides when nobody's been arrested. man this all hits home hard cause i live near minneapolis. didn't expect the riots to come to it, considering it's such an insignificant part of the country compared to say nyc or california. [editline]26th November 2014[/editline]
this is surreal [editline]25th November 2014[/editline] idk maybe roll down your window and speak??
have you ever tried to open your car window while in a car wash replace the water and soap with angry protesters
I guess I'm justified to plow through a bunch of people then because they weren't suppose to be there. This is disgusting, I'm out.
it's not a riot you spastics it's an organized protest, they are expected to block traffic and creating a disruption is exactly the point of a protest how fucking dense are you people
Do you really think he could have found a different route or drove around them in the middle of a large traffic jam?
1)yes
An aerial view.
