so if there is no connection in the evidence presented, what would it take to convince you?
evidence that connects
really? explain to me how you can logically prove she's guilty when none of the evidence connects p.s. "she's a horrible cunt guys you know she did it come on" is not logical
are you trying to make valid points still or are you arguing the sake of winning
I thought this whole thread was gonna have posts like "Fuck that bitch ima go kill her see how she likes it!!!!!!1111" but it's nice to see a couple people here have brains.
yes thank god we know how many exclamation marks to use when expressing our outrage oh wait thats not what you're saying, you're just implying people that think she's guilty have no brains nice to see some decency and respect in debates just keep pretending that everyone who disagrees with you is stupid, it must do wonders for your ego [editline]5th July 2011[/editline]
evidence that connects
what a compelling argument
legally, sure. logically? of course she's guilty. laws and logic don't always go hand in hand, which is why people say justice is blind. sometimes, it makes mistakes and lets high profile killers walk because of some tiny loophole that the lawyers managed to dig up.
There are some places in the world where the law says that you are guilty until proven innocent. I really doubt you would want American law to work like that.
I have "human body decomposition" and "legality of gunshot and knife wound" in my google search history right now millions of people have stuff in their web history that makes them look guilty of something when the context is twisted it isn't evidence of anything
i dunno, googling how to make chloroform, then having your daughter die from chloroform is one hell of a coincidence
are you arguing for the sake of winning or are you trying to make valid points still
There's nothing wrong with anything he said so far There was zero evidence that Casey Anthony did this crime If there is anything, tell me what it is. A series of things that make her look like a bitch doesn't count.
i dunno, googling how to make chloroform, then having your daughter die from chloroform is one hell of a coincidence
good thing convictions aren't made by suspicions based on coincidences
>child killed with cloroform >mother googling how to make cloroform >cloroform in mothers car no connection AT ALL so if there is no connection in the evidence presented, what would it take to convince you?
I really am glad the justice system disagrees with what you consider admissible evidence since I have "nuclear weapon design" in my google history.
-snip for bad format-
i dunno, googling how to make chloroform, then having your daughter die from chloroform is one hell of a coincidence
Coincidences happen all the time If you googled "brake lines" then your neighbour died because someone cut his brake lines, I could easily use your search history to make idiots believe you 100% absolutely did the crime despite the lack of anything else IT IS NOT EVIDENCE
There's nothing wrong with anything he said so far There was zero evidence that Casey Anthony did this crime If there is anything, tell me what it is. A series of things that make her look like a bitch doesn't count.

i'm just wondering how people dont find this to be conclusive evidence: - baby dies after being suffocated with duct tape and poisoned with cloroform - mother tries to cover up the death and goes partying for an entire month before reporting the death of her child - mother has been googling "how to make cloroform", "neck breaking" and "inhalation" - smell of decomposition in mothers car - mother has lied to police multiple times - traces of cloroform in mothers car - mother justifies lying to the police saying she was sexually abused by her father, despite saying in 2008 after her initial arrest that she loved her father and that he was a great dad i'm not seeing the "reasonable doubt" here the only additional evidence i could imagine making this case would be a confession or a video tape of her killing her daughter

yes thank god we know how many exclamation marks to use when expressing our outrage oh wait thats not what you're saying, you're just implying people that think she's guilty have no brains nice to see some decency and respect in debates just keep pretending that everyone who disagrees with you is stupid, it must do wonders for your ego [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] what a compelling argument
No, but usually when some bullshit law gets passed or something everyones like "IM GUNNA GO AND KICK THAT SENATOR IN THA BALLS!!!11" I was just expecting a shitload of posts similar to that.
Coincidences happen all the time If you googled "brake lines" then your neighbour died because someone cut his brake lines, I could easily use your search history to make idiots believe you 100% absolutely did the crime despite the lack of anything else IT IS NOT EVIDENCE
then i guess the traces of chloroform don't really mean much either

I love how every argument in ITN devolves into a circlejerk between the few most idiotic and vocal posters until everybody just gives up
There was zero evidence that Casey Anthony did this crime If there is anything, tell me what it is. A series of things that make her look like a bitch doesn't count.
I'm not arguing for a conviction, but can you really say there is no evidence? There is some evidence, it is not, however, conclusive.

i'm just wondering how people dont find this to be conclusive evidence: - baby dies after being suffocated with duct tape and poisoned with cloroform - mother tries to cover up the death and goes partying for an entire month before reporting the death of her child - mother has been googling "how to make cloroform", "neck breaking" and "inhalation" - smell of decomposition in mothers car - mother has lied to police multiple times - traces of cloroform in mothers car - mother justifies lying to the police saying she was sexually abused by her father, despite saying in 2008 after her initial arrest that she loved her father and that he was a great dad i'm not seeing the "reasonable doubt" here the only additional evidence i could imagine making this case would be a confession or a video tape of her killing her daughter

The reasonable doubt is easy to find there The chloroform thing isn't evidence of anything whatsoever, waiting a month to report the child missing is evidence that she is a massive idiot and heartless bitch but not a murderer, the "smell of decomposition" is nothing without DNA evidence, the traces of chloroform only proves she made or had chloroform (likely outcome of learning how to make some, hell I would too), lying under stress is common All of that is reasonable doubt and reason for acquittal, there was nothing concrete
I love how every argument in ITN devolves into a circlejerk between the few most idiotic and vocal posters until everybody just gives up
i like how you just call other people stupid/misogynists, ghostrate dumb and refuse to explain how any of the evidence has been nullified
I love how every argument in ITN devolves into a circlejerk between the few most idiotic and vocal posters until everybody just gives up
sanius are you trying to make a valid point or do you just want to make yourself feel good
I'm not arguing for a conviction, but can you really say there is no evidence? There is some evidence, it is not, however, conclusive.
There is circumstantial evidence, not enough to get past the threshold of reasonable doubt
Well then there you go
sanius are you trying to make a valid point or do you just want to make yourself feel good
I've been making logically sound points the entire time and all you guys have done is make emotional appeals that are an insult to any proper justice system
Kopimi, just a note, but there is no determined cause of death.
I've been making logically sound points the entire time and all you guys have done is make emotional appeals that are an insult to any proper justice system

get over it or become a lawyer if you're so butthurt

haha CUNT bitch SLUT I hate women

The reasonable doubt is easy to find there The chloroform thing isn't evidence of anything whatsoever, waiting a month to report the child missing is evidence that she is a massive idiot and heartless bitch but not a murderer, the "smell of decomposition" is nothing without DNA evidence, the traces of chloroform only proves she made or had chloroform (likely outcome of learning how to make some, hell I would too), lying under stress is common All of that is reasonable doubt and reason for acquittal, there was nothing concrete
let's just wrap our heads around the big picture here: casey googled how to make chloroform. that implies intent to create it. there were traces of chloroform in her vehicle. that strongly implies that she had come into contact with it at some point. then, her daughter dies from chloroform poisoning. just connect the dots - casey had the knowledge to create chloroform, and from the chloroform traces in her car, she obviously had the means. ergo, she made the chloroform.there's a definite link in there.
y'know people just because there's nobody else to point your fingers at doesn't mean it's her it's possible, and I think she probably did, but Zeke's right with the reasonable doubt thing.
Are you fucking serious, WHY would you ever want to learn how to make chloroform.
knowledge acquirement, self-defence
Found this on wikipedia Wondering how long it'll be before that's edited out. :v:
Are you fucking serious, WHY would you ever want to learn how to make chloroform.
because i wanna pull that old joke on everyone i know "does this smell like chloroform to you?"
