Wow what they had a $80 million budget (where did the money go??) and they used a knock off. Just goes to show it's all around bad film making... most annoying + unfunniest films ever made.
You don't fuck around with bags. Also the movie sucked.
I thought it was hilarious.
It's not a handbag. It's a satchel, Indiana Jones has one.
Not a fan of the movie, or the first one, but this lawsuit is bullshit.
Pretty much 90% of current lawsuits are bullshit anyway.
Everyone wants their money.
I laughed at maybe one joke in that movie, at the end where he throws the anchor out of the speedboat.
I loved the first film (it's my all time favourite movie) and to be honest, if the first movie didn't already exist this, I would have loved this one too. Maybe this guy is just taking advantage of the Streisand effect. I mean, otherwise I never would have heard of this brand. [editline]27th December 2011[/editline]
The first one was better, but to be fair the only thing really saving the first one is Mike Tyson and Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), who practically have the only actually hilarious scenes in the movie. Also I can't be the only one who thinks Zack Galifianakis is a really untalented comedian with pretty much one schtick.
Je hasn't really had time to bloom yet, but his role in "it's kind of a funny story" is a lot more serious.
I laughed at maybe one joke in the Hangover part II And I can't even remember what that joke was so it probably wasn't that funny. [editline]26th December 2011[/editline] oh and "that's why it's called bangKOK not bangCUNT" sounds like a joke that a 13 year old would come up with.
Considering it was practically the only good movie in 2011(I can't even think of another) that's saying a lot.
Considering it was practically the only good movie in 2011(I can't even think of another) that's saying a lot.
There were actually a few good movies, Drive especially comes to mind now. This movie is lowest common denominator garbage and even then it is just not entertaining because it is written so poorly...

This movie is lowest common denominator garbage and even then it is just not entertaining because it is written so poorly...
I'm not a big movie person so I shouldn't have really posted that. A better way to phrase it: It was the only movie in 2011 that even remotely interested me in any way and so saying it wasn't that good is very indicative of the perceived quality of movies this year. [editline]27th December 2011[/editline] That one doesn't roll off the tongue that well, though.
I think I have low standards, I love movies even more than video games and I frequently go to the cinema, but I enjoy almost everything I watch.
It's a movie prop, that would be like gun manufacturers suing every action movie because they're not proper rifles (the shoot blanks.) So stupid.
Well, except Lord of War. They used actual AKs and VZs because they were cheaper than the props.
Well, except Lord of War. They used actual AKs and VZs because they were cheaper than the props.
We're talking about Louis motherfucking Vuitton here, shit's more expensive than the world's deadliest weaponry.
We're talking about Louis motherfucking Vuitton here, shit's more expensive than the world's deadliest weaponry.
What bout those bling bling guns
Considering it was practically the only good movie in 2011(I can't even think of another) that's saying a lot.
Hugo! Go watch it!
LV having a cry about this just makes them look even worse.
I doubt thats true. Even if you were wearing a knock-off bag, its still your property and they'd be breaking the law taking it from you or damaging it.
Actually, it's true. It doesn't happen in western countries, I believe, but they can and do do it in Asian countries. They seriously stand there with scissors, and will cut it. They have police backing to do so (and actually I believe sometimes police do it to people walking around in the street). There have been occasions when they have fucked up, and cut a real designer bag because it's down to the discretion of the police officer or security guard.

This is the silliest thing I've heard since Zenimax's "Scrolls" lawsuit.
