Also you have to BUY os updates? Pahahaha
It's thesame with Windows XP -> Vista -> 7 -> 8. Are you going to complain about that too? This is a huge fuckup however.
Uhm, where does it say paypal screwed up? Even the quote you posted is saying quite clearly that it was apple's fault and that they're looking into it.
what i thought these were the normal prices
The fuck is this shit? Paypal is selling it for a price VASTLY lower than the retail price set by apple. The fuck is this shit? It means the peasants can more easily access it.
You have to pay $200+ for your shitty operating system? Pahahaha
You have to pay £529 MINIMUM to run your shitty operating system? Pahahaha edit : Context, I'm talking about OSX.
You have to pay $200+ for your shitty operating system? Pahahaha
Funny you should say that, since you also run on Windows 7
irregardless
um
I've never had an issue with paypal, granted I only use it for ebay/steam purchases.
Is it Paypal's fault or iTunes store's?
Paypal made my brother transfer $400, instead of $200 and he ended up overdrafting for weeks before his bank decided to tell him. Paypal sucks.
Uhm, where does it say paypal screwed up? Even the quote you posted is saying quite clearly that it was apple's fault and that they're looking into it.
Well if you look at the pictures, you'll only see one transaction on the 21st for 29.99. If you look at the PayPal one however, there's a ton of charges. Also the quote means apple is working with PayPal to figure out what the hell is going on.
OSX Service Pack 7 $4000
Also you have to BUY os updates? Pahahaha
You have to BUY Windows 7 to upgrade from Vista? Pahahhahaha [editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
OSX Service Pack 7 $4000
It's not a service pack. Their versioning is just different than how Windows does it. They just have OS X (OS 10) and each 10.X is like upgrading, for example, from Vista to 7.
Apple users should be used to paying ludicrous prices for things, shouldn't they?
Apple users should be used to paying ludicrous prices for things, shouldn't they?
Ayup.
Maybe the United States government all bought Lion via the country's PayPal account? :v:
Is it Paypal's fault or iTunes store's?
Same thing I'm wondering. Paypal never really fucked up for me, but the iTunes store somehow managed to push 3 unauthorized purchases on my account over the past months (changing passwords didn't work, it was a major fault in their system).
Also you have to BUY os updates? Pahahaha
Also you have to BUY os? Pahahaha
Also you have to BUY os updates? Pahahaha
But it's like buying Windows 7. It's a new version of the OS.
Is it Paypal's fault or iTunes store's?
It's PayPal's fault. The price shown is shown by PayPal, and that is the price you will be paying. The entire transaction is done through PayPal's website. Apple couldn't charge you twice even if they wanted to.
But it's like buying Windows 7. It's a new version of the OS.
But this is just a different version of 10. It's like buying each updates for Windows 7.
Funny you should say that, since you also run on Windows 7
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986
But this is just a different version of 10. It's like buying each updates for Windows 7.
No it's not, it's just how Apple versions things. It isn't like each update, that would be 10.7.1, 10.7.2, etc
But this is just a different version of 10. It's like buying each updates for Windows 7.
Are you retarded or something? The name of the OS is OS X. The X is not a version number. [editline]29th July 2011[/editline] I don't use OS X, but I took a look at the changes made in 10.7 and there is a shit load more changed with this update than there was between Vista and Win 7. Win 7 added the super bar and... window snapping? And I honestly can't think of anything else. [editline]29th July 2011[/editline] And if you want to get that fucking technical, Vista is NT 6.0 and Windows 7 is NT 6.1. The 7 in Windows 7 isn't a version number either its a name.
Mac OS X (pronounced /ˈmæk ˌoʊ ˌɛs ˈtɛn/)[7] is a series of Unix-based operating systems and graphical user interfaces developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc. Since 2002, Mac OS X has been included with all new Macintosh computer systems. It is the successor to Mac OS 9,
It is a modification on version 10, but you cannot simply go by numbering It's like Firefox and Chrome. Firefox went from 3 to 3.1 to 3.2 to 3.3 and so on. Only recently did they start a fast major release schedule, going to 4 then directly to 5, like every other browser, pretty much

So they slashed the price by 50% eh?
We've also already proved you didn't actually look at the changelog for Win7.
I think you're full of shit, but go ahead and link me to it. [editline]29th July 2011[/editline]
Oh wow lol look how butthurt this guy is
Nice backpedal.
I think you're full of shit, but go ahead and link me to it.
Remember the last time we spoke about Windows you spoke about how it couldn't handle 16 gigs of RAM? Or that you thought Win7 wasn't an upgrade because there were only two visible new features? At the same time you said UAC was invasive when it really was a windows version of sudo code which is a core piece of Linux and basically the same thing. It would be very hard to link you to it because I think it was a few weeks ago and really I'm just calling you out that you don't actually know the changelog for Win7 so you shouldn't be saying anything in the first place.
