Stop calling circumcision mutilation, mutilation is a buzz word for circumcision. And I agree that it should be a choice. But stop saying mutilation because it doesnt damage/disfigure the dick unless it has complications. Its rude to say that cut people's dicks are an abomination when half the time they didn't choose to be like that. I could easily Uncut looks and sounds disgusting, but that is rude and stupid.
By your logic we shouldn't be laughing at Downs Syndrome babies.
Silly people.
I was circumcised at an older age due to medical concerns, and I don't regret it at all. I don't agree with parents forcing circumcision on their kids at birth for religious reasons though.
I don't think people who haven't been circumcised have a right to say if it's right or wrong. I being circumcised think it should be a choice, not banned.
it's not being banned son, it's just being banned to perform it to an unconsenting child for religious reasons, which you would know if you'd actually stopped and read anything - like even the title of the thread really.
Just because something isn't necessary doesn't mean it should be taken away. You don't need your mattress, yet you still like it.
The point isn't "OMG HOW CAN U BE CIRCUMCISED THAT'S LIKE MUTILATION HOW DOES UR DICK EVEN WORK", nor is it "OMG HOW CAN U HAVE DAT UGLY MEATSOCK", it's a matter of removing a part of the body for no reason.
Circumcision isn't like getting a hair cut, you can't go back, and because of that the choice should belong to the person.
If a parent had their small child tatoo'd, the issue would be basically the same. The child would have had something done to them that they didn't consent to, they aren't able to undo, and may not even have had done to themselves.
Now, circumcision for medical reasons is totally acceptable, as much as it is acceptable for parents to allow doctors to amputate limbs from an ill baby.
just my two cents.
I got circumcised twice when I was young. I honestly prefer it, good for hygiene.

I'm against female circumcision though

Out of sheer curiosity - how do you think it helps with hygiene? Uncut people just roll it off and clean up. It literally takes 10 seconds. How is hygiene even considered a perk to this? Because when a cut dude claims the hygiene benefit, it turns out they don't clean the tip at all. To me, that rather sounds like a shoddy excuse for dodging personal hygiene.

I don't get dick cheese.

Serious answer: For a Muslim it's quite hygienic, because we wash our privates with water after doing this or the other.

Forgive my naivety, but how do you get circumcised twice?

Partially at birth (at the hospital), then I had an amendment when I was 4 years old. It was performed by the family doctor though.
I guess they forgot something the first time. :v:

I literally went through a dark period a while back where I didn't really pay attention to personal hygiene nearly at all and I never once got dick cheese, I never really get this argument when used seriously

It's still hard for me to take seriously as a counterargument. Smegma is natural. And even so, washing your penis goes with washing your body - ANY uncircumcised man with a modicum of respect for his body and hygiene will not have dick cheese. This is not a perk to having a cut dick.

Not to me. Never had to deal with that shit, for which I'm thankful.

You're acting like it's dick cancer. Do you even know what it is?

Yes. And while it might have had a function at one point from an evolutionary perspective (protecting the genitals from environmental effects), It's no longer needed now that we invented undergarments, cloth, and personal hygiene.

That's not what I meant. It's just dead skin and moisture, and unless you haven't washed in like a week, you won't experience it.
OMG germany why do you keep to pushing the jews
Well who did nazi that coming. Jew shouldnt make fun of the holocaust, its out of mein kampfort zone

You make it sound like you attribute your hygiene TO being cut. That is just not right.
Edit:
Humans invent many things, but nothing has had a substantial enough effect on us for you to claim that a part of our physiology is obsolete. While we practice hygiene more than ever, it still functions to keep the glands moist, for example.
I wasn't arguing that it made me better than my uncircumcised fellows. I offered a personal opinion, not a fact. It could be a right opinion or a wrong one. But I'm sticking to it otherwise.
Also, about that.. I don't think I'd like moisture near my privates, unless its origin is from the opposite sex.
I love my foreskin, i call him lil' tugger.
