Villages being stolen from my country? It's more likely than you think!

How did they copy the mountain?
How did they copy the mountain?
BitTorrent.
first that TF2 Blatant rip-off now this lol
[editline]18th June 2011[/editline]
BitTorrent? More Like AtomTorrent
How the fuck did they even pull this off? Fastest I've ever torrented something was something liek 300kb/s, this must have taken weeks.
I read "The Chinese Pirate ate an entire Village" and expected a cannibal pirate to eat a village worth of people
That's incredible. Comparison pictures:

Legit town
It looks better than i expected, atleast it looks vaguely similiar.
You wouldn't download a village ...
It's too big! :ohdear:
But seriously who cares, Americans have been doing this a long time.

Oh man that's beautiful.
One of my friend's house a couple blocks down has the exact same layout as my home.
a local hotel owner whose 400-year-old establishment was copied and is now under construction in faraway China is none too pleased

This house is my personal work of art. And then someone comes here and copies it, for me, it’s as if a painter copies someone else’s artwork.”

:downs:
Unless she's 400 years old, no, it's not her personal work of art.
I bet it will break down after a few weeks.
I'm still trying to figure out the filesize....
Too bad nobody's seeding the torrent on that village... I totally want one.
Switch over to the SKIDROW crack of the village, it has a ton of seeders
I've always wanted to go to Halstatt, it's amazing how they built it.
It looks better than i expected, atleast it looks vaguely similiar.
Until you realize that mountain in the background on the left side in the Chinese version is a cardboard cutout. Also, Chinese are using the wrong skybox for this kind of map.
who's worrying? this is China we're talking about here, the entire thing is going to either fall apart or be found to be contaminated with Ecoli or something and recalled.
That is fucking amazing. I'd live there.
Does this countries will put DRM on themselves now?
Immigration laws.
That picture is fucking pretty as fuck.
What is the problem with this?
I've been there a few years ago. It's a beautiful village.
An Austrian radio station interviewed Halstatt's residents and they were like "I don't care. Ours is the original".
:downs:

Not the building itself, but it's interiors and decorations.
A block of clay isn't much by itself. Decorate it and it becomes a personal piece of work.

Because the house has stayed exactly the same since 400 years and no one has renovated or maintained it or anything.
This way in the free-domain.
Oh shit China, now villages will have to contact their governments every day to confirm they are still there, and still legit.
Any village who can't make that phone call gets carpet bombed

They used lead paint and cardboard for the doors.
I expected to see a Chinese junk ship towing along a floating village.
That mountain is actually made of trash.
