I imagine them standing around on the field saying "yup" like Hank Hill and his buddies minus the beer.
Its based off of the fact that apparently some leagues are stopping keeping score.
The worst part is that Reddit fell for this too, but the top comment was pointing out the satire
So not only did the OP most likely take this straight from Reddit, he didn't bother opening the thread first
you're all so dumb omg
Reading is overrated. :downs:
Harrison Bergeron
this is fucking stupid and literally misses its own point and so is giving everyone a medal "Because everyones a winner"
I'm gonna take a brief moment to stop laughing at OP and anyone who believed this to point out that this is from This is That, which is a satirical comedy sketch talk show that parodies real issues, much like the Onion.
[editline]e[/editline]
damn you zeak
didnt south park do an episode like this?

Today's world is so weird so it would not be a surprise. This satirical article is so lifelike so it's just boring satire, not 'fun' satire.
I dunno, Im laughing pretty damn hard at all the morons who thought this was real :v:

To be fair, everybody knows what the Onion is, so it's funny when you find the one person who doesn't. That doesn't apply here since only a very small number of people know what it is.
the onion is a prettty small website. majority of people don't know what it is

"I've never heard of This Is That before I should google it"
In the real world, there's competition. Yes, teamwork and imagination are important skills, but if you do not cultivate your child's other skills and their competitive nature, they will be wholly unprepared for the real world. Somebody call child protective services.
Edit:
Okay, I'm a moron. Bring on the boxes
lmfao
Political Correctness IS OUT OF CONTROL it's really no surprise that we thought this was true. The kids who lose really need to just man up like we did back in my day. If we continue down this road we're going to have another generation of work ethic-less welfare queens who don't do a day of work in their life because they feel entitled to everything.

So what, if you see a source that you dont recognize you just take what they say as real? Instead of doing literally the TINIEST amount of research (that would have told you that This is That doesnt post real news)?
Hey guys Montreal passed a bylaw saying that your dog needs to understand both English and French commands
Even people on the fucking site are taking it seriously my god my country is stupid
Yeah, I was like, "huh this seems too ridiculous to be true, I'll take half a second to do a little research... OK their other articles are all like this, it must be a joke site."

this has happened more than once on facepunch, remember that one 'the sun will destroy earth in a few days' from a news source widely regarded for being a conspiracy theorist haven?
everyone went fucking nuts. without even googling the source
Where I come from football is drilled into you from birth, and if you're bad at it you get shunned until you get better.

And of course, up until very recently, people legitimately quoted RussiaToday.
Newsflash: Sport is about competition.
Fake as fuck though.
You know, the Aztecs used to execute the losing team. Whilst I'm not saying they were completely right, I think they were on the right path.
