I would be upset over this but Dubstep has been dead for a longgg time.
Dubstep isn't dead, the pioneering artists still produce material.
Keyboards are not real experiments.
Pretty sure they are.
These rave assholes are so late here in the US its not even funny The scene started in Asia, Japan to be specific. DECADES ago. If you're a rave asshole today and you listen to dubstep and all that I feel bad for you man. Unfortunately, lots of people in their late teens/early twenties are so into that today, it's just so aggravating. Go to college to seek some insight and conversation about philosophy, all I get are the next rave date [editline]lol[/editline] Don't get me wrong, I'm being broad here. Obviously there are good dubstep artists out there, its just those rave wannabes that can't talk music without spewing all about dubstep. It's one thing to be interested but pushing your interests is another
Rave started in Japan? lolno
Dubstep isn't dead, the pioneering artists still produce material..
Let the new wave of Post-Dubstep pull through and all of this will be in the past.
Speaking of dubstep, i really like this one. Also Borderlands ftw.
Oh, this one is great, I always loved it.
Thats not a drum and bass, its computer program and computer program
watch out guys, we got a badass here drum and bass is not just a music term, it is a genre too
Keyboards are not real experiments.
You just basically said "any electronic genre sucks, go listen to some rock/whatever" (no thanks)
Any dubstep fans like Trip Hop and breakbeat?
Any dubstep fans like Trip Hop and breakbeat?
I enjoy Trip-Hop but don't listen to much breakbeat.
You just basically said "any electronic genre sucks, go listen to some rock/whatever" (no thanks)
Any sounds that are made with expression, is music.
Thats not a drum and bass, its computer program and computer program, and this sounds even more like a robot jacking off with a toaster. This is a drum and bass: Go listen to some quality music kids, i'd recommend Allan Holdworth or The Vanguards, The Cranberries, Liquid Tension Experiment. If you want to be extra awesome: Meshuggah, Nile, Necrophagist, Viraemia and stuff like that. Keyboards are not real experiments.
and my opinion would be is that your music is shit doesn't mean it's not 'real' or you don't enjoy it in any way.
Keyboards are not real experiments.
I'm going to assume you meant 'instruments' not experiments and inform you that something doesn't stop being an instrument just because you don't like it.
Sorta related :v: (but personally I think Doctor P - Big Boss would fit even better)
Hey guys there is good dubstep now stop being stupid
Hey guys
Is it just me or this is not dubstep in any form, especially after first half of the video
I never knew I could actually like dubstep until Saints Row the Third rolled around.
Is it just me or this is not dubstep in any form, especially after first half of the video
Burial was pretty much one of the inventors of dubstep, listen to more of his stuff its really awesome. also the reason i hate dubstep is because it has completely ruined the london dnb scene. You used to go to a rave and everyone there is really cool and just there to listen to the music, you go to a rave now and everyones moshing to dubstep and drum n bass, getting waaaay too fucked throwing up everywhere/coming up too hard and just generally pissing everyone around them off. I can pretty much expect what crowd to see depending on whos playing, skrillex played at some club a while ago and i had to leave within the first 10 minutes because of the amount of twats in there, its no wonder they get beaten up
Is it just me or this is not dubstep in any form, especially after first half of the video
That track is more garagey than dubstep. But as a whole it's the only reason for dubstep being respected in the music community.
I'm going to assume you meant 'instruments' not experiments and inform you that something doesn't stop being an instrument just because you don't like it.
Gah i meant instruments.. its kind of hard writing the right words simultanously with a seagull hammering into your window, while listening to batshit fusion music. But they arent experimenting either, its just the same chords all the time, same bassline, same everything.

I'm really not surprised, a lot of pop stars have been incorporating dubstep elements into their music lately. It's just because it's finally caught on with American teens. Honestly, it'll be pretty amusing to see what happens when you combine Bieber and dubstep. I can see this album selling a lot with Kanye helping out, he's quite good at producing and makes excellent beats. But nothing in this world can make me not hate Bieber's existence. No amount of Kanye can fix that.
I only like a few dubstep tracks - two in fact. Apart from these, I don't really like this genre. Most of the commercial stuff is shit and now that Justin Bieber will touch it it will probably turn into a wide load of shit because everyone will do like him to sell more stuff.
Dubstep used to be good... at least there's post-dubstep
These rave assholes are so late here in the US its not even funny The scene started in Asia, Japan to be specific
Goa mate, Goa
this new album already sounds shitter then his first.
The only problem I have with Dubstep is that a lot of it sounds the same.
The only problem I have with Dubstep is most of it sounds the same.
That's weird, because that's the same problem I have with heavy metal.
That's weird, because that's the same problem I have with heavy metal.
That's weird, because I feel the same with Call od Duty games, they're all the same. Edit: Sorry, I thought we were posting random off-topic opinions.

love burial. i wouldn't call them true dubstep as much as i would call them more classic dubstep. The wub wub is more or less a product of popularity. It's almost like the type of dub that excision, datsik or downlink puts out, is much more of a 'punk' version of dubstep. Who cares about classifying genres though, if it sounds good to my brain, makes these drugs taste better, then i wont care what you call it.
Well the dubstep community is pretty dumb, mostly arguing about what is actually dubstep and what isn't, because apparently that's pretty important. I enjoy listening to dubstep though
Well the dubstep community is pretty dumb, mostly arguing about what is actually dubstep and what isn't, because apparently that's pretty important. I enjoy listening to dubstep though
it's interesting to talk about, if you aren't interested then that's fair enough.
Is it just me or this is not dubstep in any form, especially after first half of the video
what that's burial, only one of the most famous dubstep artists?
