I expect him to explore nintendocore related themes on his next-next album.
Burial really is inspired. It's not generic club disposable crap, it makes you feel something.
but people say burial and james blake get played in clubs all the time
Really? I've never heard that.
but people say burial and james blake get played in clubs all the time
burial not so much, more for the hipster communities but james blake definitely, post dubstep is a big hit in london too
god damn it, i like dubstep! don't ruin it...
Some dope shit right here
god damn it, i like dubstep! don't ruin it...
It's not ruined, it's just that people mistake it for something it isn't: exaggerated baselines and over-compressed instruments. When Skrillex had record sales with Scary monsters and nice sprites, he said something like "it's a bit of everything, electro, dubstep, stuff like that". Then people instantly connected dubstep to "WUBWUBUUGRRRRGLZZZ".
Some dope shit right here
That's more like another boring electro duo who did typical mainstream quality music, in other words they took Justice - Stress (Auto Remix) and added a few things over it. I dislike Nero they are cheesy and uncreative as hell. I might aswell take a drill press the trigger and go "this is so raw!". Not surprised Justin Bieber is going to try that, since most people listening to pseudo-dubstep are probably from the same audience as his. At least close.
So instead of the dubstep sounding like 2 transformers having sex, it's gonna sound like a transformer raping a young girl.
Burial was pretty much one of the inventors of dubstep, listen to more of his stuff its really awesome. also the reason i hate dubstep is because it has completely ruined the london dnb scene. You used to go to a rave and everyone there is really cool and just there to listen to the music, you go to a rave now and everyones moshing to dubstep and drum n bass, getting waaaay too fucked throwing up everywhere/coming up too hard and just generally pissing everyone around them off. I can pretty much expect what crowd to see depending on whos playing, skrillex played at some club a while ago and i had to leave within the first 10 minutes because of the amount of twats in there, its no wonder they get beaten up
this post 100% although not just the London DnB scene, the whole of the UK. Can barely go to a DnB night anymore without dubstep being in room 2. Flat peak caps and skinny jeans galore. Why did you even bother going to see Skrillex?!
Dubstep is what your average crazed kid in 9-15years listen to, they are usually casual console gamers that think they are king of the world.
That is all
Dubstep is what your average crazed kid in 9-15years listen to, they are usually casual console gamers that think they are king of the world.
Music and PC elitist [editline]7th December 2011[/editline] Here's some proof that good dubstep is being released still, this came out last month plus Skream has a single releasing on boxing day, got some nice dark sounds :3
That's weird, because that's the same problem I have with heavy metal.
Waoooooo so fucking though! AND SO MUCH ZING U R TEH WINRAR. Viraemia, technical death metal(emphasis on the technical) Fredrik Thordendal of Meshuggah(Emphasis on Meshuggah because Meshuggah means crazy in yiddish) Last is my favorite, as its jazzy. Holdsworth inspiration is clear in his guitar playing. Here you can see Viraemia live, with a real drummer(oh god his poor limbs), and that is not called assaulting the guitar, Hendrix did enough of that. Dat bass, look at his fingers.. if i could do the same to my penis.. Heres some "technical" video of a guy "composing" "techno" Anyone somewhat musically inclined could do that. And im saying that because i made that kinda music when i was a dumb weaboo, aged 12. Thanks, good night.
These rave assholes are so late here in the US its not even funny The scene started in Asia, Japan to be specific. DECADES ago. If you're a rave asshole today and you listen to dubstep and all that I feel bad for you man. Unfortunately, lots of people in their late teens/early twenties are so into that today, it's just so aggravating. Go to college to seek some insight and conversation about philosophy, all I get are the next rave date [editline]lol[/editline] Don't get me wrong, I'm being broad here. Obviously there are good dubstep artists out there, its just those rave wannabes that can't talk music without spewing all about dubstep. It's one thing to be interested but pushing your interests is another
Facepunchers only listen to dubstep infront of their computers, which makes it even more sad.

Take this: Now compare that to this: And then compare it to this: High-pitched anime "techno", you say? And then finally: This particular song was composed in the 70's using several different analog synths. No sequencers, except for the drums.

Thats what left of my electronic tastes, i thought the music sounded more on the ground than random techno crap, it was a part of my musical taste transition/maturing. Then my father accidently snuck a few Metallica tracks into my walkman, now 5 years after i am pretty much "done with electronic music". I'd have to say if it wasent for stuff like Nile and Meshuggah i would pretty much be done with metal too, then it would be jazz. I respect people with their tastes and opinion, but i feel offended when people call it "assaulting the guitar and grunting" because its far from instrumental assault, atleast the metal i listen to, it requires skill, nice hardware and alot of practice.

There's nothing wrong with it. I personally prefer the more atmospheric black metal to thrash, but there's nothing like a bit of everything. Even the death growls are nice. :3
What next? Screamo metal?

What does it mean he will experiment with it? He doesn't write music, they just have the pop music writers write the music and tell him to sing to it.
Skrillex is a bad example of dubstep to be honest, even the dubstep community dislike him.
Usually when I find a song that I really like that same band also makes a song that I am not really into. The only exceptions so far have been Sabaton and Scatman John. FUCKING LOVE THEIR SONGS! That being said, I like the Kill Everybody in the World song by Skrillex. To other people it's probably just noise but to me, it's good.

Justin Bieber doing dubstep? Two things that bad colliding might actually end the universe as we know it.
Hey man, why did you post the same metal song 3 times?
Woh ho ho. The last one is a live version of the first. The middle is another song, even a mentally retarded goat could tell apart.
Well JB is terrible, so is dubstep. They will go hand in hand. My roommate loves dubstep and likes to blast Skrillex and fucking My Little Pony dubstep A LOT. I know dubstep can be a hit or a miss, but everything he plays is a miss.
