I'm okay with this, but.. Weren't they in a conflict just 5 seconds ago?
At least they got hope, just look so damn hard it was to fix east and west Germany. These guys has been in war for over 60 years, not to mention pretty much everyone from north Korea will have very very poor education, culture and hell North Koreans won't even be able to grasp the South Korean ideology. North Koreans will piss themselves when they enter Seoul.

You can't really tell if people actually buy into the ideology, or if they just go along with it because if they speak out they get shot. Education also won't be too bad - universal education seems to be something NK prides itself on, so at the very least everyone will be able to read/write. Higher technology isn't unheard of - there's actually a state-run video game development team (they're doing outsourcing work right now, cheap cell-phone games for some big American media conglomerate). They all know what electricity is, although it usually is broken as much as it is fixed.
Well this would be really good for everyone, but I feel something might go horribly wrong.
Bullshit, it can't be like the DDR/BRD, NK is a fucking shit hole, it could totally mess up the economy of SK.
Remember West Germany and East Germany? West Germany was like what Japan was in the 80's. Then, when they blended together the economy, while its still good...eh.
Remember West Germany and East Germany? West Germany was like what Japan was in the 80's. Then, when they blended together the economy, while its still good...eh.
One of the most stable economies in Europe?
Germany's economy is fine now. At the time, West German job markets were flooded with unskilled labor and there was a lot of East West hate because of it. The East Germans were actually feeding their people, though, and their economy hadn't completely collapsed, so this will probably be worse.
Gentlemen, when should we begin the attack?
Did anyone else think Homefront?
Dont worry... It said it happened in 2013. Our world would already be destroyed by 2012... If 2012 doesn't happen... GOD HELP US ALL!
This will be interesting
He looks like such a god damn bad ass in that picture.
[editline]1st January 2011[/editline] I suck
I honestly expected the badage boys, this is much better.
Of course best korea won't accept, they don't want to share the wealth and glory of best Korea.

It's up with china and the USA in terms of export.

THIS JUST IN! S/NK unification goes horribly wrong as SK president sticks it 'in the wrong hole', more on this at 11.
Pyongyang has pronounced a slogan of becoming a strong and prosperous nation in 2012
I love how they're implying that they're a weak and poor nation right now only honest thing they've come out with in quite a while
I don't think this is going to happen, there is no way north korea will give up its governments power.
I don't think this is going to happen, there is no way north korea will give up its governments power.
Agreed, I can see this unification being a very bloody scenario.

this is a good thing [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] if it happens
Never going to happen. Thread over.
Good luck with that Korea.
I'm going to guess a 70% chance of nothing, 15% chance of War, and 15% chance of unification. If it's war, then fuck. If it's unification, then MY BODY IS READY.
They are gonna use all the pro starcraft 2 Players as generals.
South Korea won't reunify unless North Korea beat them in Starcraft
Finally.
The ocean should unify with the continents so we can be fish
