who doesn't these days
There is nothing unnatural about gays and there is nothing wrong with them,
but when the role of a species is typically seen as to survive long enough to procreate, what advantage does homosexuality bring about to the species in order to allow it to survive? When and why did homosexuality come about? That is what I am interested in.
As for those studies, I haven't heard of that but hey you might as well enlighten us a bit more than just that.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-321577/Gay-gene-make-women-fertile.html Heres a link I found real quick. It would explain why gayness wouldn't be weeded out by natural selection. Not to say homosexuality can't also come about through environment.
Less population, of course.
By now we have too many people around... to be honest, we need that help.
Natural selection wouldn't select for having less children.
its some natural response to high populations, to try and sorta 'lower' the reproduction rate. At least some articles say... don't count on me though.
how do gay plants even work?
Again natural selection doesn't work that way.
What other purpose does homosexuality have? You either admit its a mutation because it goes against biology or you can hypnosis the idea that its a way of nature trying to qwell birth rates. His theory is backed up by a research that suggest the more kids you had in a family - higher chances of them becoming gay.
Let me explain this one. FIrst off again natural selection doesn't work that way and 2 my hypothesis would explain it. Since the homosexual gene also makes females more fertile it would explain why homosexuality would be found in families with a lot of kids.
Facepunch homosexuals: People who have yet to feel the love of a man's body (let alone a woman's)
I could be wrong though.
Are you saying homosexuals never masterbate?
The advantage in animal herds/packs is that the homosexual ones won't be spending time on their kids and can perform other jobs. They can also become foster parents if necessary. Both increase survivability.
Lowering the reproduction rate? Don't animals naturally try to have as much offspring (that will survive) as they can? When there is too many of them, their number will be regulated by the lack of food or change in predator hunting zones, not in homosexuality, because the low percent of homosexual ones does not have a significant impact on the birth rate.
Like I said, "At least some articles say... don't count on me though."
And humans have a seemingly unlimited supply of food (At least in certain areas). However I see the point.
