Whoops, I "forgot" the passkey. Don't like that? well boohoo.
That is what hidden sectors are for! [editline]25th January 2012[/editline]
How much do you get for "obstructing justice"? Say you have made a huge amount of money on some illegal activities, which when exposed, would get you 20+ years. It would make sense to spend maybe 1 year in jail than 20. I just BitLocker'd my D:\ drive (where torrents are at). Is there any benefit of using TrueCrypt besides plausible deniability?
Well the whole plausible deniability thing is probably the best feature of it... I mean if you're ordered to decrypt that volume now, you're pretty screwed! If you have a hidden volume within that volume, no one has to even know it exists! It doesn't show up, even if you decrypt the main volume the hidden volume is stored within
I used to be really protective of the government over this stuff with everyone screaming that we mind as well rename our selves Oceania, but this is getting ridiculous.
How much is a duodecillion anyway?
10 to the 39th power. (10^39) So that's 35,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years.
no matter how innocent, anything you say can and most likely WILL be used against you eventually. written word especially, can be taken out of context intentionally or not to fit an agenda. encrypt everything. you're not human to them, only a potential conviction to further their own careers. soon we won't have the right to a trail by one's peers. fuck our surveillance society and fuck the police.
Hello welcome to America! The theocratic police state!
What exactly do you think that word means
What exactly do you think that word means
You live in America, yet you fail to see the over-excessive religious influence in government and society?

Just give the pass that wipes the drive.
You live in America, yet you fail to see the over-excessive religious influence in government and society?
How come literally every post I see by you is bashing the US in some way.
Plausible deniability. Good luck FBI!
How much do you get for "obstructing justice"?
How much is a duodecillion anyway?
10^39, so: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 I think, sorry if I miscounted all the zeroes.
