Lol, used to work at an airport, buddy. I'll tell you straight-up that there's plenty of ways to get some seriously bad shit done.
Hope you sleep tight tonight, in your little "safe" perception of the world.
[editline]06:58PM[/editline]
BTW, you're a gamer, right? So I would assume you've played (or at least heard of) the Airport level in Modern Warfare 2, right?
Tell me this right now - what's stopping some wackos from doing that right now? Really tell me - what would stop them before they did some serious damage?
lol, did you just use a video game as an example?
darkheadcrab's entire argument summed-up: you don't know and i won't bother explaining it because you are too dumb to get it
Hahahahah
You know...he's right. You're laughing about how it's MW2 though I'm sure.
I'm gonna buy this book, i think it'll be very intresting to see things from George's side.

Oh, jolly funny ol' chap. Go sip your tea before it gets cold.

Don't underestimate him, he worked at an airport!
lol, did you just use a video game as an example?
Just because it's a video game doesn't make it automatically wrong, he was just giving you an example of a situation.
Just because it's a video game doesn't make it automatically wrong, he was just giving you an example of a situation.
Right, because he's a dumb gamer and everything he learned about he world was from video games, so I'm stooping down to his level. :v:
Right, because he's a dumb gamer and everything he learned about he world was from video games, so I'm stooping down to his level. :v:
Well...If you say so
You know...he's right. You're laughing about how it's MW2 though I'm sure.
What's to stop me from taking a shit in your mouth while you sleep tonight? It's just impractical. And yes, the MW2 reference hints the whole Tom Clancy mentality.

You're named after a video game character. You're acting like a total tool.
There's really nothing here acting lower than you.
Oh, jolly funny ol' chap. Go sip your tea before it gets cold.
that's not how English people speak fyi
Right, because he's a dumb gamer and everything he learned about he world was from video games, so I'm stooping down to his level. :v:
Uh, no. I play like two games and not very often.

Hey, anyone smart who grew up in an inner city area will tell you straight up that if some crazy-ass motherfucker decided to take his AK out and spray a crowd of kids, he could do it and there would be a period of time before resistance responded, during which he could do pretty much whateva the fuck he wanted

Your point? This is different from a terrorist act in so many ways it's not even fucking funny.
damn. fun shit, this is. any of u wanna beer?

Just how the fuck is it any different, homie?
If that's not a terrorist act, then I don't know what is.

You are rapidly proving yourself to be an ignorant idiot.
a terrorist act is an act by an organization with the express purpose of inspiring a political driven terror. A random act of violence is not terrorism, it's a random fucking act of violence.
I'd like to see you do a better job, people who say Georgie was a bad president.

So you categorize your evils. Whatever. How the fuck am I supposed to keep up with your standards of "this guy's a criminal, oh but that guy's a terrorist"?
They do the same fucking things, doosh - bad things. What, you don't think the "terrorists" over in Iraq aren't doing "random acts of violence" every single damn day? What the fuck do you think terrorism is, something noble and for a purpose? You think an IED isn't a random act of violence? Guess what, it actually doesn't get any more random than a hidden bomb.
No dog - there's no fucking difference. It's all fucking insanity and pointless violence.

do i have to be a successful film maker to know that transformers 2 was shite?
reagan liked jelly beans. he probably even ate the ones no one else liked, like popcorn and licorice. seems like a cool guy
I like popcorn flavor :saddowns:

No. It isn't. From the stand point of prevention it's not even. If you can't grasp this, stay the fuck away from politics and law enforcement.
There's a huge fucking difference and if it's not obvious to you, you're either underage, or just an idiot. One can be fixed, the other probably won't be.
Way to go using the "you're an idiot" argument. Works for anything.
I take it you must have been to Iraq, then. Tell me this: how to you prevent terrorist acts over there? Duh, you can't - unless you know that they're going to happen ahead of time, so that you can stop it from occuring at all.
If I shot HumanAbyss in the face for no reason ever, that would be a random act of violence.
If I shot HumanAbyss and then held his sister hostage asking for money from his ex-parent's to get her back alive, that would be terrorism.
[editline]07:22PM[/editline]
That was a terrible example, but at least I'm getting someone to probably write a better one
Response to crime/terrorism WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANNA CALL IT, is a responsive measure, and a preventive measure. It's not a proactive measure by any means, because it, by nature, responds to the actions of others, whereby the terrorist/criminal WHATEVER is the guy initiating the aggravation to which others can only respond.

Kid, I'm guessing you're no older than 15, and I'm also guessing all of your political beliefs were passed down from your parents, or other members of your family. Please do not assume that your opinion on politics is already logically sound. Politics are not about adopting the opinions of others; they're about learning and understanding the facts, and basing your own theories on them.
Ok smartasses, let me spell it out:
You do agree that there are "terrorists" in Baghdad, right? Well guess what? Their version of random acts of violence is hiding bombs out for our boys and girls to step on. These bombs make huge explosions that kill countless others such as nearby civillians and also damage property belonging to civillians.
IF YOU DO NOT CONSIDER THAT TO BE A RANDOM ACT OF VIOLENCE equivalent to spraying an automatic weapon into a crowd of innocents, then you guys are victims to semantics.

I love how people post shit online that they would never fucking even think of saying if we were having this debate face-to-face.

Durp. See, you can't call my arguments a ad hominem argument because again, I'm calling you an idiot, but my argument doesn't rely on you being an idiot like an ad hominem argument requires.
My argument requires that you understand the difference between a random act of violence which is perpetrated for any reason that is not a political one. a random act of violence can not be stopped statistically due to the nature of it being a random event. It's not a driven killing or driven violent act.
In Iraq, the context of a random violent act would likely put it as terrorism because in that situation it's rare that a random act of violence isn't specifically political. There's a difference, but you don't seem to understand.
Labeling the evils of the world helps fight them. You can't stop random acts, but you can fight terrorism because political goals have political steps to be taken with goals that can be stopped. a random act has no goal.
