America's first ever black on black election
I don't like Obama, so yes, I'm not going to vote for him.
It's good that you're honest about supporting someone who is legitimately insane like Paul, as opposed to Cain, who supports insane policies because of corporate influence. America needs a R3VOLUTION, and R3VOLUTIONARY thinkers like you are going to lead it, right? There is not a single decent Republican candidate on the 2012 ticket. I can't think of a single reason to vote for any them, other than out of spite or sheer stupidity. As far as I'm concerned, they can all ship off somewhere else if they really stand for what they preach.
America's first ever black on black election
Neo-nazis everywhere will have an aneurysm
If, in an attempt to vote for the "lesser of two evils" you pick Cain over Obama, you probably have a serious enough mental deficiency to qualify for disability payments
Anyone who would pick any of the previous GOP candidates in a "lesser of two evils" election needs to have their head examined.

His overall plan is of course to bring home all US troops from all foreign bases, but that has less widespread appeal.

At this time, there's not a single competent candidate (with large number of support) fit to run the country.
If, in an attempt to vote for the "lesser of two evils" you pick Cain over Obama, you probably have a serious enough mental deficiency to qualify for disability payments
Or, you know, I have a different opinion. But anyone who has a different opinion than you must have a brain problem.
Or, you know, I have a different opinion. Obama has some grasp of foreign policy and clarifies positions beyond just repeating a generalizing statement, at least when asked.
Obama doesn't have a blind hatred of muslims either
Obama doesn't have a blind hatred of muslims either
While I'm unhappy that Obama doesn't really confront the issues of gay marriage, abortion, or gun control, at least I can say he isn't adamantly against those things. DADT repeal was a great thing, pulling out of Iraq was a good move, and the American Jobs Act has plenty of things the GOP supported in the past. He's been a bad president in regard to following through on certain things, but good god he is better than Herman Cain in so many ways.
I think Herman Cain is the better than the rest of the republican candidates. It could have been worse.
I agree. Although I hope the republicans don't win, if they do, I'd rather it be him. I would say Ron Paul, but his ideas are a tad too radical for my liking and there is a lot of debate over whether some of them may throw the country into an even worse economic spiral or not. We will still have one of the largest embassies in the world in Iraq, not to mention the thousands of private contractors. Troops will be removed(which should have never happened/been done sooner); it's all to save face. On top of that, we've left Iraq an unstable mess that will be co-opted by the Iranians and al-Quaeda.

And our presence in Iraq will remain indefinitely? If Blackwater's over there killing civilians or something they need to be brought to justice, but that's hardly "our" presence. Additionally, al-Qaeda doesn't have the fucking resources to take any greater hold in Iraq, I mean come on. [editline]25th October 2011[/editline]
I agree.
In what world would Herman Cain be any better than Obama? Obama has some grasp of foreign policy and clarifies positions beyond just repeating a generalizing statement, at least when asked.
I've been happy with about two or three things Obama has done in the past three years. I like most of his social issues, but economically, he's doing a terrible job in my opinion. Unemployment has surpassed 9% nationwide, and his administration lacks any private sector experience whatsoever. On top of that, he's associated himself with some terrible allies, including Ben Bernanke and Van Jones.
Where do you live? The vast majority down here in Florida seem to hate all the Republican candidates this year and this is a red state.
Arkansas.
I'm still hoping Ron Paul will win the primaries... I can dream, can't I?
You want a nightmare? Dude.
Or, you know, I have a different opinion. But anyone who has a different opinion than you must have a brain problem.
Opinions can be wrong, especially when those opinions support economic policies that are laughable to all but the most idiotic conservative "9-9-9" would make rich people richer and obliterate the middle class - in other words it would destroy the US And as for Ron Paul, gold standard, there I said everything I needed to say

The longer Cain stands at the top of the polls, the more he damages Mitt Romney's chances at beating the president. Godspeed, Mr. Cain. May your inevitable downfall come right before the RNC.
And you think Cain would be doing any better with his 9-9-9 plan?
It would eliminate all the tax-loopholes in the current system at the least.

[editline]25th October 2011[/editline] words mean things dude
It would eliminate all the tax-loopholes in the current system at the least.
You can't do that without instituting a flat tax that puts a bigger strain on low-income people
It would eliminate all the tax-loopholes in the current system at the least.
You're aware that it is possible to do that without going all regressive tax on people, right?
Zeke often persecutes people who even slightly disagree with him, or stick up for the people he disagrees with.
Yes I'm just like Pol Pot
It would eliminate all the tax-loopholes in the current system at the least.
Yep lets close those loop holes, too bad they wont matter once the economy tanks even further because of the absolute shittyness of the 9-9-9 tax system. [editline]25th October 2011[/editline] I also find it funny how people are still blaming Obama for shit that was Bush's fault.
