The people who are too lazy and retarded to research who the fuck they are voting for are running this country into the ground. However, once the final debates begin, I think Obama will point out the Republican candidate's flaws and probably win.

They're doing a pretty good job of doing that themselves already.
Yeah, the fact that you aren't in one when you were clearly headed for one.
We never left the recession in the first place. Things are worse now then they were three years ago. If I'm not mistaken unemployment rose past 9% after the first bailouts, and has never receded.
I find it upsetting that the Obama Administration continues to boast about how many millions and millions of jobs they've created, and yet unemployment continues to rise.
We never left the recession in the first place.
The point is he stopped it from progressing from a recession into a depression.
Maybe if the Republicans hadn't cock-blocked his Jobs Bill and all the other bills he's tried get passed maybe things would be getting better, but I guess will never know now. The Republicans would rather stand around fingering themselves than help Americans, the people they are supposed to be serving.

creating more money to finance new debt and preventing the market from cleansing itself(a market correction) is irresponsible economics. obama may have put off economic collapse, but a stock market crash isn't the problem anymore - the sovereign debt crisis is - stop irresponsible government spending!

I'm having a hard time trying to argue with you when you lower yourself to such crude insults and obscenities. Please, it's not funny, it's just rude.

cut down on government spending and raise taxes on select parties, like the rich.
Do you have a mental deficiency?
And the market correction/self cleansing thing you mentioned would probably fuck over millions of normal people
Do you have proof?
um.
A GDP boost and 3-3.5 million jobs created what more do you need this is common information. The stimulus also saved money and clearly boosted the economy.

Yes it's rude but is angrily calling out the Republicans on economic terrorism unjustifiably rude? I don't think so.

I try my best to be respectable, and I would like people to at least respond in a similar manner.

Sorry I'm not the beacon of perfect kindness you obviously want me to be. But facts are facts whether I'm rude about them or not. I commend you on being respectable, but I'm not you and I'm a no bullshit kinda guy if that means I creating a few black eyes to get people to acknowledge the facts than so be it.
I try my best to be respectable, and I would like people to at least respond in a similar manner.
How can you call yourself respectable when you support a racist and homophobic asshole?

Yeah and lets cut taxes because that will inject some much needed revenue into a crippled economy! Oh wait, Bush already tried that and fucked America in the ass and bled it dry! And you wonder why people are getting fed up with Republicans, it's because you guys don't seem to learn from your mistakes.

"a"? That implies there is only one.

I never said I was a republican. I'd rather get rid of as many taxes as possible, getting rid of regressive taxes take priority.
"a"? That implies there is only one.
I said "a" because I'm REFERRING TO Ron Paul, which is Boba_Fett's favorite politician and presidential candidate choice.

If it quacks like a duck then it's probably a duck. If you aren't a Republican then why do you align yourself with their views and CONSISTENTLY be an apologist for them?
I never said I was a republican. I'd rather get rid of as many taxes as possible, getting rid of regressive taxes take priority.
You're right, you didn't, but you sure have the intelligence of one. And how do you propose that the country turn a profit WITH NO FUCKING REVENUE? "IF WE CUT TAXES THEN WE CAN GET OUT OF THIS ECONOMIC SITUATION WITH THE MONEY WE PULL STRAIGHT OUT OF OUR ASS WITH THE MAGIC WAND THAT MAGICALLY CREATES MONEY!" It seems that basic economics escapes you.
It's people like you who make life miserable for everybody else.
I never said I was a republican. I'd rather get rid of as many taxes as possible, getting rid of regressive taxes take priority.
oh hey that makes you sound like a republican
weird
Some other terrible views he has that everyone seems to ignore:
1) Pro-life
2) Wants to get rid of minimum wage, the IRS, and income tax
3) Doesn't believe in evolution
4) Opposes the UN, and wants the US to end its membership
I still don't understand why so many people on the Internet have a circle jerk over him.
So US wouldn't have veto power anymore?
Ron Paul 2012

by deficit spending, that's how
reducing the national debt is a big issue, but there are more important issues that needs to be addressed before the government even looks at how it's going to pay off its debt.

Yeah, and cutting taxes does NOT help reduce the deficit which in turn does NOT help pay off their debt, this has been proven time and time again.
Yeah, and cutting taxes does NOT help reduce the deficit which in turn does NOT help pay off their debt, this has been proven time and time again.
no, i'm arguing for deficit spending
as i said above, the government has more prominent issues that it needs to address before it even looks at its debt
no, i'm arguing for deficit spending

You can't fix the deficit JUST by cutting spending.
I never said I was a republican. I'd rather get rid of as many taxes as possible, getting rid of regressive taxes take priority.
I would rather raise taxes and put that money into better services.
AKA the kind of policies that have allowed many first world countries to have a much higher standard of living than us.
[editline]25th October 2011[/editline]
Increase revenue, smart spending.
The candidate who wins the Republican nomination can be anyone, even Bachmann, and Obama will still lose. I love the guy, I really do, but the way things are a year from the election, I do not think he has a chance.. :smith:
No incumbent has ever won with an unemployment rate higher than 7.4%. It is 9.1% as of now.

Times change, which is funny because it apparently doesn't for Republicans.
You can't fix the deficit JUST by cutting spending.
where do you keep getting the idea that i want to reduce the deficit
I'm encouraging deficit spending, because that's what the US needs right now to avoid a double dip
