They only come in to disparage the "left" as a nebulous liberal form of evil

Trump supporters simply don't want to argue unless it looks like it's in their advantage.
I've asked several of the more prominent supporters here, and very few of them have ever bothered to answer them.
I hope they realise how screwed they are and how screwed their countrymen is. Because I'll be fine. But they won't be.

they don't want to get dogpiled i.e. they don't feel safe arguing unless it's on the_donald

From what I've seen, they try to pull the "Who cares - the left should've put forth better people" card. Not that I disagree with them as Clinton is full of shit, but they act like that is enough of an excuse for Trump's action.
I haven't seen anyone point out how disastrous this would be for small businesses
Nobody is going to wait 5 minutes for a local pizza place's website to load when Domino's loads in one second
Nobody is going to go online and spend an hour trying to browse the furniture selection of a local antique shop when they can just go to IKEA's site instead and be done in ten minutes at most
Anyone that doesn't want to dish out an additional $4.99/mo to have Facebook won't see the ads of a local hobby store and instead get what they need for twice the price from Amazon
When that happens you will sure as hell see the economy tank and the public riled up against this and any other shitty policy this administration is poised to enact.

[Insert smug "Liberal Tears" response that avoids confronting the actual issue]
I can only hope that if things do go to shit that Americans actually go outside and protest rather than just post about it on the internet. The government is full of people who don't pay attention to the popular sites so the only way they will know that the people are against it is if they show up in person. Only issue is that America can't protest without violence happening which doesn't help

Many times the violence is baited by the authorities and media. They want to paint protesters as the bad guys every chance they get, regardless of what the protests are for. They fucking tried to spin the DAPL protests as violent despite the police firing rubber bullets at journalists and blasting people with water cannons in subfreezing temperatures while the protesters stood there and took it.
The fact that those protests managed to accomplish their goal still has me completely flabbergasted considering how these kinds of things have turned out in the past. And considering how militarized the police is nowadays it is only a matter of time until the guns go hot, at which point you can say goodbye to peaceful organization.
Well, a silver lining to the loss of Net Neutrality is that 4Chan won't be able to use anymore of their meme magic to summon another Donald Trump.
He's not wrong-- Trump will definitely decimate net neutrality if given the chance. I'm saying this as a Trump voter.
One of the more depressing side-effects of this year's election.

FTFY. It's pretty shitty how pol and sometimes b drag the rest of the site down.
I was in a surprisingly long lived net neutrality thread on /pol/ a few days ago.
More than a few people are beginning to wonder, "Did I err?"

In their safe-spaces, strangely enough.
i wonder how long voters will accuse other voters for election results when clearly hillary won popular and trump won electoral
i feel like i might dislocate my jaw in order to avoid repeating that. like i get people are stupid for voting for trump but he didn't win by the will of the people lol.
so why not shut up with "you're fucking stupid if you voted for X"
We should probably start coming to terms with the very real possibility that the US will be a corporatist hellscape within a few years, and that we won't be seeing each other ever again at that point.

because none of that changes the fact that you're fucking stupid if you voted for him lol
