Well he won't get the nomination since Hilary will be going for it and the Clintons are political psychopaths. It would be cool though; we haven't had a Virginian in the White House since Woodrow Wilson. [editline]20th November 2014[/editline]
Jello Biafra is gonna have a field day. Maybe Jello should run. Also, do we really need another out of touch, upper class old man running this country? What we need is a middle class guy in his 40s who actually represents the working class.
Good luck finding someone from the middle class with ANY experience in politics to run a legitimate campaign
If Clinton were to win the 2017 presidency, control of the United States will have been with only 3 families for 32 years, assuming only one term. Plus, she is an awful person. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/hillary-clinton-stands-by-her-defense-of-1975-rape-suspect/
2016 presidency* They're every 4 years and always on an even year (minus some exceptions), cmon now!
What ever happened to Jon Huntsman He didn't seem bad at all
He wasn't batshit insane enough

And then she'll lose to whoever gets the republican ticket because she isn't even slightly likable.
Hillary vs Rand
What is this, a race to the bottom? Can we just not?
No way Paul Ryan gets the nomination. I see Chris Christie getting it because he's at least slightly likable even if his political stances are terrible.
American politics is always a shit show, but I feel like the 2016 election will be a shittier show than normal even.
American politics is always a shit show, but I feel like the 2016 election will be a shittier show than normal even.
It's basically the 2000 election but the "political juggernaut that has a horrible personality" is a democrat now.
Hilary is literally as conservative as any other republican on the field today. Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren are the only true liberals that are popular enough to run.
Honestly, there's no way I'm voting for Hilary-- just about no matter what. Hell, I'd go Rand Paul over her. I'd vote just about anything that's not that psycho.
Good luck finding someone from the middle class with ANY experience in politics to run a legitimate campaign
Jello Biafra is upper-middle class, and has run for political positions before.
No way Paul Ryan gets the nomination. I see Chris Christie getting it because he's at least slightly likable even if his political stances are terrible.
I would be fine seeing Christie run just to set how he fares.
If he's not as crazy as Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Sarah Palin or John Huckabee, he's definitely one of the less crazy ones.
Actually he is pretty tame, unless you find wanting the NSA to stop spying, wanting to stop being part of the worlds police, etc crazy, then you are part of the problem.
Actually he is pretty tame, unless you find wanting the NSA to stop spying, wanting to stop being part of the worlds police, etc crazy, then you are part of the problem.
nice job listing his only redeemable beliefs
nice job listing his only redeemable beliefs
To me those are better than anyone elses who actually have a chance of winning.
Jello Biafra is upper-middle class, and has run for political positions before.
The guy from the dead kennedys?
To me those are better than anyone elses who actually have a chance of winning.
Yeah, no problem if he repeals the civil rights act or outlaws abortion, as long as the NSA stops spying right
Jello Biafra is upper-middle class, and has run for political positions before.
and he was in a Hardcore Punk band. there are literally no downsides. Jello 2016.
Yeah, no problem if he repeals the civil rights act or outlaws abortion, as long as the NSA stops spying right
If the country falls apart, that won't make any difference. Many states are already biting the bullet since this past election.
Adlertag1940 for potus!
Not that I'd vote for Rand in a million years.
The guy from the dead kennedys?
Yeah. He tried running for president as a Green Party candidate in 2000, but got beat by Ralph Nader. His running mate was a death row inmate.
I was genuinely expecting a picture of donald trump when I saw the thread
I wasn't expecting, but I was really, really hoping. Donald Trump running for american president would automatically enhance how awesome the year is by an order of magnitude
Yeah. He tried running for president as a Green Party candidate in 2000, but got beat by Ralph Nader. His running mate was a death row inmate.
Doubt hes upper middle class. Probably rich as fuck
Doubt hes upper middle class. Probably rich as fuck
Independent record label owner that is also in a hardcore punk band? I doubt Jello is really that rich. Also, when he was running for mayor of San Francisco and president, he was really pushing law enforcement reforms, like having police officers and Sheriffs be voted in by the community, and with all the stuff in Ferguson and the like going on, Jello could get a lot of support.
did anyone else notice he was starting to crack a smile somewhere in the beginning? I feel like he was about to laugh at the bullshit spewing out of his mouth :v:
Independent record label owner that is also in the 3rd most mainstream punk rock band behind The Sex Pistols and The Misfits
fixed
Yeah, no problem if he repeals the civil rights act or outlaws abortion, as long as the NSA stops spying right
He never said he'd repeal the civil rights act though, That is something he said... I do disagree with him on abortion, in fact we disagree on quite a few things. However hes the best damn chance the Republican party has. I'm probably going to stick to voting third party again, but thats due to my opposing some of Rand Ideals which i find distrubing. I will never vote for Hillary, nor would I vote for anyone who flip flops like a pancake. This'll be my third presidential election I've voted in, I've learned quite a bit about politics.
