999 was piss easy to dial on a phone with a dial (You know, those round things nobody remembers these days), I'd imagine 000 is piss easy on a button phone because it's the number at the bottom in the middle.
911 confuses me. On a dial phone it'd be one full turn then two small nudges and on a button phone it's moving your finger all over the place. Which you'd think could be difficult if you're being shot at, missing an arm or on fire.

why not

not really
My great grandfather was from Australia.
Wait so whats the 911 of Britain and why does the U.S. use 911?
itt Americans expecting flaming hot cheetos and a man who doesn't know how to use a phone
If i was in an emergency, id probably dial 911 instead of 000 without thinking about it.

But Cheetos aren't potato chips, son. Besides, everybody knows how french fries are chips in the UK and chips are crisps in the UK. If you don't, you are most likely borderline retarded.
are you trying to dispute?
do you think that 0 is a larger number than 9?
9-9-9 = -9
0-0-0 = 0
000 is better.

0 is a number?
I fucking love British Chips.
I love dry fish.
9-9-9 = -9

(9)(9)(9)=729
your mother sucks cocks in hell

You wouldn't if you had grown up in Australia. Knowing what number to dial in an emergency is not instinct.
This reminds me of that time a woman called the cops over not getting her fries or chicken nuggets after leaving the drive-through.

There are no brackets in the number, however it is sometimes acceptable practise to place dashes (which look like minus symbols) between the numbers. So you're just silly.

Actually, all emergency numbers here route to 000
112 in Finland.
9 is better then zero
Wow ignorant fucking Americans, get your head out of your ass.

Thank god
9 is better then zero
So you'd prefer to be raped 9 time rather than 0, or punched in the face 9 times rather than 0.
you got it all wrong.
one zero is already bigger than nine.
10 > 9
Our emergency number is 112.
fucking twat
000 is the Australian Emergency number.
*waits for the "only in Australia replies"*
Well you can't dial it from anywhere else.
South African one is 1011. Quadruple digits bitches.
Is the Australian emergency number 000 because they banned all other numbers?
I really wish bad reading was still here, I would rate myself so many times.
Protip: Calling 112, 999, 911, 000 or whatever usually re-routes you to the nearest dispatch center regardless of your location
At least on mobile phones.
