It's a reality literally everywhere in the UK, chis IRA.
They bolt bins shut here around new year's to prevent vandalism with fireworks. Usually it ends up with piles of garbage surrounding them.

This is how it is in the UK, its not a problem as long as they collect it on a regular basis.
I mean it took some getting use to at first, but now its quite a common thing in airports and train stations.

The "correct" answer IMO though is the magical bomb proof bins (its a bin without a lid..) or the simple bags hanging from metal rings.
They might not be the nicest things but they are better than having no bins at all due to security issues.
Or the classic Australian way of getting an average wheelie bin, chain it to a pole, cut a rectangle into a lid and put a garbage bag inside

...BOMBS DISGUISED AS GARBAGE!
No thanks needed terrorist man
Oh wait... Didn't think that through
Because the ONLY place you could hide a bomb is in a trash can.
What if some islamist carries a gym bag filled with C4. Ban everyone from everywhere
Everyone should just pile up their bombs where the bins were to spite them.
fixd
Ahh, too many forum members around West Brisbane, shoo :v:
Well this will stop Osama Bin Laden for sure.
I think Queensland got the wrong message from the Boston bombings.
This is like a sketch from some satire comedy show.

huh? we have bins almost everywhere in belfast and surrounding areas at least
Why not do what France did when they got bombed and replaced almost all public trash cans with transparent plastic bags instead of removing them?
Can't they just do the G20 on an aircraft carrier or in a remote town somewhere? these things are always so disruptive to the city that hosts them.

Australian politics is a comedy show
Bumping this because people are now putting signs like this up over the signs that explain the reasoning to sealing the bins

That's worthy of an update thread almost.
Prague also didn't have bins in metro stations for quite a while. But they've been all replaced with reinforced, blast proof ones in most stations since.
