Human Remains Found Arkansas, Recently Identified To Be An Old Friend Of Mine

Oh my god that's horrible. Especially for the family knowing that your child is nothing more than some decaying and disfigured material and bones. Your child is unrecognizable. :(
This is probably not a good idea, but if you don't mind OP, can you tell us some history you've had with your old friend? Like how you met, last time you guys talked, etc.
I kind of want to write a story about this. A short story about a man who tries to find out who the killer was behind the murder of a long-lost friend.
My condolences, OP. I found out that a long lost friend of mine's mother passed away recently. It felt terrible.
I feel for you. I know what it's like to lose someone you knew, all I can say is that I know it must have struck you and anybody who knew the victim in one way or another. I hope the killer gets caught and thrown in prison with no chance of getting out because no one should have to go through that. You have my condolences.
Sadly, it's likely the person that did it will go unpunished.
Killer story OP, that's a bit brutal and unfortunate.
Fuck, Hunter. I was back home today for my job interview, now I feel like I should have came to visit you when I had the chance D: Hope you're not feelin' too down amigo.
Cute.
Show some decency, asshole.
Condolences to you, OP.
Seriously...
Here's the part I don't get:
So random bags of trash occasionally turn up on your property and you think "It's nothing"? What, you just sort of let it be? At some point you expect the trash fairy to come and pick it up?
Then the other part. So you have this thing, came from who knows where, and when the wind is 'just right' you get a whiff of something horrendous, horrendous enough for you to ignore it for two months?
If I notice so much as a scrap of paper in my yard I deal with it then and there. If I smell something horrendous even ONCE, I find out what it is and get rid of it right then. WTF is wrong with this guy? Or is that just how life is out there?
As we speak, there is an empty box of Apple Jacks and an empty bag of Pistachios in my backyard. :v:
Sadly, it's likely the person that did it will go unpunished.
Not as long as there is still justice in this world and we draw breath.
His killer will be found.
May her soul rest in peace. I hope they get they bastard.
Who would do this stuff? Im gonna feel bad for the family.
Hey man, that's life.
It aint pretty but we just have to move on sometimes.
How about do the same to you parrents.
It aint pretty but we just have to move on right?
Good lord OP I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, OP.
I haven't heard about this in Jacksonville, though.
I swear, I just thought this shit happened in Little Rock and around Meth Mountain.
Condolences to you and her family, hope the prick who did it gets whats coming to him.
May they find the bastard that did this.
My great uncle died in a similar event.
$20 says it was a husband or boyfriend.
Dudes always be murdering ladies for bangin' other dudes.

I doubt this.
Well, the conviction rate for murder in the USA is only around 40% so her killer may go free. But most crimes are motivated, and usually due to money or relationships. And she didn't have money.
In before OP did it
Don't be to gullible when it comes to meeting friends, you might just get chopped up or something even more sick.

Didn't you read the thread? It was Ninja Duck, case solved.
I don't know why people post stuff like this in the news thread. All they will get are people still trying to make jokes and a bunch of people who will offer a 5 second condolence that will be gone once this thread sinks below the first page. I'm sorry for your loss but this news is way too local for a web forum that spans across the globe.

Yeah, nice name dude. :raise:
I'm sure Human Remains must have been disgusted to find that.
How are you supposed to tell Arkansas's family?
And Recently Identified To Be An Old Friend Of Mine's friends must have been mortified as well.
well ain't you just a fuckin comedic prodigy

That really blows, OP. I can only imagine what you're feeling right now.
You never think this kind of shit will ever happen to you or anyone you know, which just makes it worse when it does.
In the newspaper I read that a pedophile isn't going to be committed to prison for life despite raping a 4 your old in the 80's and a 6 year old in the 90's.
Have a good night OP
Thats horrible. It sucks to find out one of your childhood friends is dead. Condolences from me and everyone on FP. I hope you are ok :)
not as horrible as knowing they were killed and left to rot for four months
I wonder if it was suicide.
I wonder if it was suicide.
I'm not the one that chooses whether it stay local, I've seen similar local events that have been posted in the news node before, considering this is such a gruesome way to die, why should it be kept local?
