Who the hell thought Fallout 3 had a good ending? I will come to your house dammit.
I thought it was decent, but Oblivion's was FAR better.
44. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II 38. Fallout 3
Are you shitting me These two numbers should be switched around
Guinness records for video games: popularity vote edition
Mass Effect's ending was way better than ME2's as well
Nothing will beat the end of Mother 3 for me.
America is dominate.
Gotta think most of these voters were joking, theres a few games on that list that don't even have endings. Not to mention three COD games, and a misspelling of Episode 2.
I didn't mind the batman game endings, can't think of my favourite ending in a game though. Normally cause games bore me before i get to the end.
All credibility lost.
On top of that, you can't even consider it an ending.
I think it's obvious why Black Ops is #1. They were getting really bored of the game, and they were happy when it ended!
Mafia: City of lost heaven ain't even on the list.
Mafia: City of lost heaven ain't even on the list.
I didn't like the ending very much. [sp]I never really enjoy dying at the end of any game. Plus Tommy was a cool guy[/sp]
Episode 2's ending was fairly generic to be honest.
Yes, because taking an extremely well developed character that almost everyone likes, and then ripping out his spine infront of you, only to have it cut to black with his daughter weeping over his corpse as aliens go to destroy the planet is the most generic ending ever.
Time to go to Fast Threads 'cause this is shit that gets me mad.
No Mafia on that list. Nope. Edit: Hmm, should have went to the next page before replying.
I think it was quite clever that[sp]you were playing as JFK's killer the whole time, and that you were brainwashed to do so[/sp], but there are better endings out there. Far better.
But not enough to give Blops story, or its ending, any real significance.
I didn't like the ending very much. [sp]I never really enjoy dying at the end of any game. Plus Tommy was a cool guy[/sp]
It was pretty much to show that [sp]Tommy, even though he knew how the mafia operated and the rules they lived by (eg. The Omerta), thought he could easily pull out the same way Frank did because he had a conscience; 'The Whore' and 'Better Get Used To It', for example, are missions that shows Tommy's moral regard for human life. He states also that he doesn't look for violence but he has no remorse when it happens, which pretty much is the reason why he lasted in Salieri's organisation as long as he did. He basically disregarded the heirarchy of the mafia due to these views, and that's what got him knocked off. He was naive enough to think he could outsmart them when in reality, he had been conditioned into a life that he could never leave behind. That showed how powerful the mafia really was.[/sp] That's my interpretation of it anyway, since I'd just replayed it and took in a lot of what is said in the intermezzos.
