The only problem I'm having with chrome is that when closing a youtube tab, it crashes flash and I have to shut down the whole god damn browser.

Been using Chrome since the first release in (I believe) September of '08.
How I ever lived with each tab not being its own process I DO NOT KNOW.
Damn that youtube issue is like a week old and all over the net, yet still Google hasn't released the beta as stable yet? It's not like their betas are ever unstable anyways, since the dev channle is like a beta within a beta, and canary a beta within a beta within ughgjsdfjkas
Also for web design, the inspect element feature is SO MUCH BETTER than firebug.

I can inspect as many elements as I want, I can't inspect the :ninja:s.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but FireBug does exactly that.
I have used safari, IE, firefox, seamonkey etc and chrome is so streamlined and easy to use. The extensions are growing larger and larger, the skins are far better than firefox or IE (if they have any) and besides, chrome opens faster (for me) than other browsers
I love chrome, I've got most of my family and friends on it I don't think I'll ever switch
Is there a 64 bit version off Google chrome?

Assburgers alert!!!! Sarcasm not detected!!!
Isn't that technically monopolization tactics?
Not really
Google is just advertising its browser on its popular site
I think an example of monopolization tactics would be making its very popular sites lack major features unless Chrome is installed, as many would switch to use YouTube
Now once Google buys Facebook, Google will own all of the internet's most used assets
And on second note, Why hasn't Chrome been fixed for that Youtube bug people keep talking about? I use FF so it doesn't affect me, but weird that Google owns Youtube and yet their own browser crashes on Youtube.
Now once Google buys Facebook, Google will own all of the internet's most used assets
Ahhaa, I'd love to see how the general public would react to Facebook suddenly being replaced with Google+, all their stuff being there and everything, and facebook.com redirecting to G+
Ive used Chrome and Firefox, so far ive liked Firefox better. In my case, Firefox has used less memory and has generally been faster. I also like the layout better (i use the classic layout, or whatever its called.) Until Chrone does something that stands out from Firefox to me, i will keep using Firefox and keep recommending it to people

I doubt google would purchase competition if we're talking about g+ vs fb because they only buy services/products which they know they can do far better on.
And those products usually start young.
The only reason why I still use Firefox is because I'm extremely dependent on my history for browsing. It has many problems, I won't deny that.
Chrome is good. I liked their old logo better though (the shiny one)
Upgrade to Google Chrome Gold today.
Chrome has one problem to fix and that's the occasional memory issues, Firefox has several and they aren't showing any signs of being fixed.
I must be the only one that never get memory issues.
While Chrome really isn't for me (can't beat Firefox's personalisation, and Waterfox's speed), I'm glad to see IE being pushed out.
I got Chrome when it was first released, wasn't very impressed then but it's okay now. I use it as my backup browser and for checking my emails (if I check my mail on Firefox I get logged out of Youtube, and logging in again is a pain due to my long password). I have many addons that either aren't available yet or are still in development.
Nightly is awesome too.
By the way, is ghostery or something similar available yet for chrome? I'd like to block google adsense, pagetrackers etc.
IE 10 is looking good.
And chrome is a botnet.

A lot of problems people have (with any browser) is down to 3rd party extensions or code that hook into them (considering the amount of time people spend using browsers, it makes sense to stick random things in there if you're a 3rd party) I don't let anything hook into Firefox, and in the past year it's crashed once for me (and I'm fairly certain that was due to the Nvidia driver)
It's the same with memory usage, a lot of extensions or 3rd party code are really bad at managing it.
Currently, there's no 64 bit version of Chrome, at least not for Windows. I believe rewriting heavy chunks of Webkit is required for a 64 bit build.
hey guys whats going on in this thread
If I replace Opera at some point, it will be Chrome that will take it's place.
But for now, I'll just use both.
It's simple to use, works, and is fast, why wouldn't you use it?
Also most of the addons for firefox are starting to appear on Chrome, so pretty much the only reason left to use it is fading away.
Adblock doesn't work on youtube, I can't handle it, so I moved back to firefox until that shit gets fixed.
Personally I use both Opera and Chrome. For some reason I find Firefox too slow.
I have been testing chrome for a while now, the only thing annoying about it is that it doesn't block all of the ads like firefox adblocker.

Anyway, I like chrome I've been using it for a lot of time, mostly because firefox had compatibility issues with Win7 64bit, while Chrome is as smooth as it can get.
I have a raging hardon for Firefox and my configuration for AdBlock Plus.
Besides, I don't encounter any slow or bloaty problems with FF anyway.
Adblock doesn't work on youtube, I can't handle it, so I moved back to firefox until that shit gets fixed.
it works on the Chrome version, you have to enable experimental APIs first
