when's the last time paul mccartney made a song as good as black skinhead??
a: never
If feel like now that I'm so used to New Slaves Kanye, this one just doesn't appeal to me that much. That being said, if this was included in 808, I'm sure I would have loved it off the bat. Not bad.
who's kanye?

bass for the beetles back in the 1990's
This is Paul McCartney, even if you don't listen to music you know who the hell he is because of his work with others like the beatles and the wings really changed the music world. McCartney is a literal household name and garners mass attention in anything he does. Even deaf people can tell you who this man is. If you're not a music person McCartney still is all over the place with his work. Like how he played at the winter Olympics.
I would be completely and utterly impressed if you have no idea who McCartney is because thats a very hard thing to accomplish given how he's everywhere and has such a massive following.
how exactly did the beatles change the music world

They were way ahead of their time, a shit ton of musicians basically said that that they were inspired to pick up an instrument because of them, they basically laid the groundwork for modern day pop, and they STILL have one of the biggest fan bases in music history.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
and did a lot of experimental music whilst bringing it to the mainstream
I mean, you can hate the Beatles all you want, but there's no doubt that they absolutely did revolutionize music.
One can be popular, but still be irrelevant or dated. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.
By the way, the song McCartney did for Destiny was terrible anyhow. That was some Spinal Tap tier shit.
There is no music that is 'dated' or 'relevant' as long as there are people that listen to it.

I still listen to this song now, but if Jibbs had released this track in 2015 or even in 2012 it would have been considered dated or irrelevant
