The one in WWW was about 10 times the size of the Doom ones.
I'm not, because Laurence Fishburne did a better job than Will Smith could have.
except he was supposed to play Neo.
Wild Wild West is by far one of the worst action/comedy movies created. It's not even bad funny, it's just absolutely boring and the jokes are so lame. But making a movie that is pretentious and pretends to be deep is far worse.
Good to hear about how he feels towards it.
shyamalan has some serious talent, i mean who could forget this gem
and it's not like the director is very good with actors to begin with

i would be surprised if anything half decent could have ever come out of this perfect storm
Was that really the best take they got? Christ.
I liked Wild Wild West.
Alot of us did.

2 things
1) if a SciFi plot Makes not Rational sense then no matter how good the actors are the movie will always be dragged down
2) if one of the lead actors is bad in a 2 person movie and the script is unbelievable then everything is bad
The tagline for the commercials isn't even logically correct, it was something like "humans haven't lived here for 10,000 years, so everything here has evolved to hunt humans" does this make sense? Does the basic premise that a planet without humans can have life evolve specifically to hunt humans...
Also jaden has no acting talent. I'm sure he is good at something but its not acting

As a kid though, that movie was great. What I later learned to be steampunkish stuff in there was cool. Today, ya its more painful to watch but back when it was one of the few VCR tapes I had it was great

Thanks for clearing that up man! I personally always thought it was a fun and funny movie to watch, but it seems like I was wrong. You learn something new every day.
I personally felt like After Earth was mostly created to give Jaden Smith some more spotlight
Yeah exactly... his son's acting is his careers 'most painful failure'.
the thing that got to me the most in After Earth was that Jaden played his character with an accent, and literally NO OTHER CHARACTER in the entire movie had an accent, not even his parents

All I know about that movie is that tons of kids bought tickets to it so they could sneak into the South Park movie, which opened up on the same day.

Is he sure it wasn't "Winter's Tale"?
That's not entirely true. Go watch the Karate Kid remake, he's pretty good in that.
i thought pursuit of happiness was pretty good too.
as jaden got older, I think his head became more lopsided.

I thought it was gonna be Smith playing as Neo. But I can also totally see him being Morpheus.
Wild Wild West is one of my all time favorite movies. Perhaps it's because of the giant steam-punk spider.

how do people still buy Shyamalan's shitty movies?

His career is hopefully over after near back to back worst movies of the year. People just have to stop being stupid and not watch his movies. They don't even have flashy manly blurry action like Bay's films do.

I loved that movie when i was younger and I will never watch it again. That way I can always remember it as a fun steam-punk action movie.

Always glad to help the poor and uneducated sheeple.

"Neo, here's two pills...boy I'm tellin you take the damn red pill"

The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs are the only films of his I care anything for personally. The Village wasn't terrible, but it was a definite decline. I've stopped watching everything after it.
The Village had such a great idea behind it but an absolutely horrible execution.
I actually read a spoiler for The Village because the writer said something like "This can't really be a spoiler because it would be too stupid to be true". So I read it and thought "It WOULD be too stupid if that's what the movie is about". And that was what the movie was about. That's where he started to go off the rails imo.
edit: The idea of that movie is on a level with "And it was all a dream..." in terms of cheesy plot devices.
I'm one of the crazy ones that still enjoys Wild Wild West.
Is the Wild Wild West still the only mainstream representation of steampunk, or did something come out since then?
Jaden Smith is the poster child for not letting tweens smoke weed.

this is your acting career, now this is your acting career on pot
It doesn't help that his son's face is stuck in a permanent "what the fuck" sad frown.
