"Software engineer for Google, Ken Harrenstien, is deaf" How the fuck does he even know what youtube is then?
He's deaf. He's not blind.
What about Religion? :smug:
Shut up.
I can't wait to see the subtitles on the Scatman music video.
We can add our own caption by our self Youtube, thank you very much. This auto caption is defining moment of stupidity. I wonder what would happen if they put it on those youtube poops?
I've never seen a video with subtitles on it except for mine (and I only did it on like 3 videos)
Listening to music is going to be hilarious thence.

Subtitles are already there, If you've seen the "Cc" icon, you'd know what I mean.
I can picture it going something like this: http://translationparty.com/#4257099
Charlie, this is bravo, coming in for a landing, over! into Japanese チャーリーは、このブラボーで、上陸のため今後、以上です! back into English Charlie, the Bravo, the future for the land, and more! back into Japanese チャーリー、ブラボー、土地については、将来、もっと! back into English Charlie, Bravo, about the land in the future, and more! back into Japanese チャーリー、ブラボーは、将来の土地について、もっと! back into English Charlie Bravo for future land, and more! back into Japanese チャーリーブラボー、将来の土地を、もっと! back into English Chariburabo, the land of the future, and more! back into Japanese Chariburabo、将来の土地を、もっと! back into English Chariburabo, the land of the future, and more!

I'd like to see it annotate this
What the hell subliminal messages.
I wonder their system works. I think users should be able to make their own subtitles.
From what I understood it's not a very good system.
Automatic misheard lyrics videos? SICK
What will it make of this?
I'm bored so I'm doing auto-timed captions on all my applicable videos right now.
I'm wondering if it'll mistake sounds for voices.
Come on, though... This is Google. If anyone knows how to make anything work correctly, it's them.
Even though they had JUST recently fucked over a LOT of developers with what they did to Etherpad. But yeah, generally, Google does pretty good.
If it ends up like this, I'm better off without subtitles, and with better fucking quality videos!
Oh that's great, Commercials in front of the videos, over use of annotations on the videos, the song's advertisement on the bottom of the video, and now forced subtitles on the video too We want to see the actual fucking video, too, Google
