stylo is fucking awesome what are you guys smokin'
Their new album didn't sound all that good to me at first, but it grew on me pretty quickly. I like it. :D
I'm a hugh jass advocate of planned endings instead of fading into shit so I guess this is a good thing.
I was about to go bitch about them splitting up, but I agree 100%. Especially when they did it with the cartoons I loved as a child...
That's a shame because I really enjoy the music, you can't even compare them to other artists. Gorillaz is their own music. Though I wish they did less collaboratives on this album.
They put out an album like every 4 - 5 years, alot of bands break up and re-unite in that amount of time
If he does decide to quit, maybe he'll start them up again later down the track and given the amount of time between each album, it will seem like they never stoppped
i guess you could say... the gorrilaz are chimping apart at the seams... xD
Looks like they are going to quit while they are ahead.
I shall miss them.
i guess they dont feel good together xD
Sounds like they broke the camel's back
yeah ok I got nothing.
it's because they suck shit xD

I rated you dumb xD lmao rofl
Man, I read this thread title and immediately said "No!"
I will miss them if Albarn does quit.
I haven't given their new album a listen, but I'm a big fan of the first two. Is it anything like Demon Days?
It's a very different sound. But in terms of quality it's still very excellent. Give it a listen.
Maybe blur can come back, they kick Gorillaz's ass.
Holy shit this is out? I need to get it.
In my opinion though it will be hard to beat Demon Days.
If Plastic Beach is as good as im hoping, :frown: hope he'll make a new project. If it's not as good as i think, Well at least i'll have the good memories of being young with Demon Days
NOOOOOO! :saddowns:
It's like the best band ever...
I read the "storyline" of the Gorillaz once.
Crashing in to a record store and kidnapping blue-haired mentally challenged people for a band seems...uh, interesting.
Personally, I quit listening to their new stuff after El Manana. It just didn't feel right without the windmill, and I didn't like the style change.
Still love 19-2000 tho :buddy:
We still don't know what happened to Noodle :[
We still don't know what happened to Noodle :[
From what I heard, the devil came to claim Murdoc's soul, but being the ass he is, he sold the devil Noodle's soul instead. So yeah, poor little Noodle's soul is apparently rotting in hell :crying:
-EDIT-
Yep, confirmed, Noodle went to hell and they built an android to replace.
El Manana was staged too, apparently.
I really hope they keep going. Plastic Beach is the shit
I think I'm the only person in the Western Hemisphere who really didn't enjoy Plastic Beach. I am endeavouring to listen to it again, because I am willing to bet that it's just me that missed something instead.
Everything Albarn does is fucking amazing. I really hope Blur do another album.
Sorry to bust all your bubble but their quality has been slowly declinning over the years and they will be dead and forgotten soon this is what happens to this type of music
Unlike metal (REAL metal) which can haves bands going for 30 year and still be popular

lol
This isn't the first time Damon Albarn has said this sort of thing. Last time Feel Good Inc. was suppose to be the last one. I'm not saying he's lying, he just can't seem to come to a definite conclusion about whether he wants to end things or keep going.
