I had a Pré for about 10 days before I sent the thing back and swapped it out for a 3GS upgrade. The thing was terrible, it dropped calls like a bitch, and the app market in the UK is empty.
You don't blame the phone for the connection. Compared to my Sony Ericsson and my brothers Iphone 3GS I have better signal not using 3G everywhere.
I have only used 500mb in two months of ownership, I should be fine. I'm on PAYG though. Unlimited texts, unlimited Internet for just £15pm [editline]11:10PM[/editline] Two months = when I got my replacement phone (out of warranty, noble apple)
I have an iPhone because it was 20 bucks refurb. And I still keep my unlimited plan because it is under the contract I purchased.
This isn't that big of a deal anyways, I rarely reached 50MB a month, let alone 500.
i've had an iphone for about four days now and have racked up 350mb usage
They're pretty fucking dumb.
I love how they included "Uk Wi-fi" so it looks like they're giving it you.
i think that last.fm app used way more data than i expected it too
What the fuck. The reason I went with O2 was their data plan was pretty good. They're unlimited plan had a 3GB fair use policy. And that was for £30 a month. Now they want 60 for 1GB? Fuck their shit. I have like.. 8 months left on my Contract then I'm switching to an Android.
I love how they included "Uk Wi-fi" so it looks like they're giving it you.
They are. You get free access to 'BT Openzone' and 'The Cloud' WiFi newtorks.
Droids are still better, basing this off experience
your avatar makes every post captivating
Android OS>Apple's proprietary piece of shit
Only thing making it better than other smartphones is the huge app store. And the huge display, but I think 800x480 is enough.
- App Store - Huge Display - Decent camera for taking casual photos. - LED Flash - Accelorometer - Gyroscope - Good for browsing the web - Very good music playing - Good at checking mail - Multitasking - Front and back camera - Video calling - 720p Video recording - Voice control - Voice recording - On-screen keyboard with spell checking - Search and accessibility features - Sleek, smooth design on both the hardware, and software - iTunes store - Multi-Touch - Noise suppression for easier hearing on the phone - Ambient light sensor - Proximity sensor and fuck, this is just off the top of my head. Now, what makes it better than any other smart phone on the market is that it's got all this, and more in one device. I will take my statement back when you find me a smart phone which has this amount of features in it. Deal?
No one will listen to you, they're going to just continue bandwagoning against Apple.

:britain: typical im glad i dont have one.
For those people who own Apple products and may be befuddled by my comment on the first page, your average person with a fancy phone is a hipster. I'm not saying you are a hipster, it was a generalisation based on common knowledge of walking about town. Always fucking Hipsters with their trendy lumberjack shirts and stupid sunglasses and oversized accessories and stupid phones to make up for their intelligence, or should I really say lack of intelligence?
Most of these features were either already in other phones or are quite useless.
:fuckoff: Read my post. Yes they are in other phones. No there is not a single phone out there with all those features on the same device. As for usefulness here we go: - App Store Useful as fuck, fullstop. - Huge Display Not exactly useful, but is a nice feature, it will make watching movies better. - Decent camera for taking casual photos. Useful. - LED Flash Everyone complained about it not being there for long enough; useful. - Accelorometer Awesome feature the iPhone has always had. - Gyroscope Can't really see the need of it myself, but doesn't hurt being there. - Good for browsing the web Useful. - Very good music playing Useful. - Good at checking mail Useful to me anyway, considering I have a ton of email addresses - Multitasking Useful. - Front and back camera Always has been annoying taking self photos on an iPhone, so front camera is useful for that - Video calling Dunno, some people could find it useful; personally it won't be. - 720p Video recording Nice to have. - Voice control Useful if you're into jogging or biking and don't want to stop to change song, nice to have. - Voice recording Personally never used, but can see it being useful for some people. - On-screen keyboard with spell checking Useful - Search and accessibility features Definitely useful for the disabled, never need to use the search myself. - Sleek, smooth design on both the hardware, and software Well, design isn't useful, but it's nice. - iTunes store Useful - Multi-Touch Another awesome feature that's always been there - Noise suppression for easier hearing on the phone Useful. - Ambient light sensor Eh, depends, could be useful for some apps - Proximity sensor Eh. [editline]11:10PM[/editline]
No one will listen to you, they're going to just continue bandwagoning against Apple.
I know. Pisses me off to be honest. But at least I'm taking time to write out good detailed posts and explaining what I'm saying.
