• Japan: Immigrants eyed as a key to maintaining population level

Looking at the culture of Japanese youth I'd say that changing their attitude towards sex would be the first step. If they're running off long-term models and thinking about in 50-100 years time, immigrants are going to cause a lot more problems than getting kids fucking.
tl;dr Come to our country and have sex with us

Japan needs to first fix their xenophobia
You it's kinda sad thinking about it. If the Japanese population declines any farther, there might not be any Japanese people anymore.
I'd go if I could bring a lifetime's supply of bacon and rock 'n' roll.
Japan needs to first fix their xenophobia
they're only as xenophobic as americans are which admittedly is bad, but not as bad as you think just as many japanese like foreigners as americans like foreigners and even talk to you just to hear your accent
You it's kinda sad thinking about it. If the Japanese population declines any farther, there might not be any Japanese people anymore.
Whats happening in japan is eventually going to happen in all first world countries, to some degree.
Whats happening in japan is eventually going to happen in all first world countries, to some degree.
I thought it was because women in Japan were only recently starting to go to university and have careers. That unlike previous generations, recent generations of Japanese women were skipping the marriage and family thing. If that's the case, then only first world countries with similar labor demographics would see this happen. Unless a country has an all male work force, then they have already felt whatever impact women joining the workforce would have.

I should have been more specific though, I was meaning mostly the population loss in japan is going to be happening soon in first world countries. But another big thing that is happening in Japan and also happening in other first world countries is the rise of NEETS, (generally) young adults who are Not in Education, Employment or Training. Basically people who are rejecting the idea that everyone should be working all the time (or be a housewife). NEETS are more prominent right now in Japan mostly as a reaction to the completely horrible corporate culture that the older generation of Japan hold. I know that in America this trend of NEETs is growing with the Millennials. There is a good podcast cracked has on this subject, its about America but the ideas that are behind it are pretty much also happening in Japan.
In Japan, especially areas where the Yakuza operate, people don't fucking break laws out of fear of the yakuza. It's really weird over there. Areas with organized crime have the lowest actual crime figures.
It makes sense I guess because if there's high crime rates at where the Yakuza operates, the authorities are forced to actually do something about them which is something the Yakuza obviously does not want.

The tardiness of the government's relief efforts is so fucking embarrassing that they send in police to persuade people not to accept Yakuza help.
It makes sense I guess because if there's high crime rates at where the Yakuza operates, the authorities are forced to actually do something about them which is something the Yakuza obviously does not want.
Actually it's because if you commit a crime in Yakuza territory, instead of police, you're going to have the Yakuza chasing after you. And they're not as nice as the police.
japanese girls are pretty fine, i'm down B) pack the bags
We got any japs on FP who can tell how the lack of Babby has affected them? Fuck it, are there any Japanese people full stop on Facepunch.
I've seen a couple.
it will probably go up with the police going after DEM IMMIGRANTZ!1 japanese police is VERY corrupt.
I was gonna say, don't they just rule any death an accident if they can't find a suspect withing a day or two to keep the murder rate low?
Maybe they could get love pillows the citizenship recognition they deserve. The population would triple overnight.
As is common in Japan, Aichi police reached their verdict on how Saito died without an autopsy. No need for a coroner, they said. No crime involved. Only 6.3% of the unnatural deaths in Aichi are investigated by a medical examiner, a minuscule rate even by nationwide standards in Japan, where an autopsy is performed in 11.2% of cases.
VICE told me that the population level problem in japan is because of young men jacking off to anime rather than doing real chicks
VICE told me that the population level problem in japan is because of young men jacking off to anime rather than doing real chicks
vice didn't actually said that lol, vice did said the problem is folks having to focus TOO much on their careers. whats causing population decline in japan, is the same thing thats causing it in everywhere else, not enough time/money to take care of children, so why bother having them.

I think it's either a case of complacency or inability to be hired, technically speaking the summer anybody gets out of highschool they're a NEET if they don't have a job
I really don't understand NEETs. Why the hell wouldn't you work?
corporate culture in japan is VASTLY worse than many other nations, anything too extreme tends to have extreme reactions to it on the other direction as well.
I really don't understand NEETs. Why the hell wouldn't you work?
Mostly because they don't see the point.
I really don't understand NEETs. Why the hell wouldn't you work?
Probably hundreds of different reasons ranging from laziness to crippling anxiety. With Japan the intense competitive nature of the workforce probably drives people away.
I dont understand. Are they mocking him ?
Is it good or bad that I'm one of those people
Have fun getting culturally enriched by Somalians, Nihonjin :)
