that part is taken out of context so much it's unbelievable, what it says is that if the enemy is a disbeliever, they shall be punished with death. that doesn't mean someone dies just because they disbelieve, it says enemies, as in people who are already against you. [editline]12:03PM[/editline] i sure would hope i have read it, considering i believe in what it has to say
You believe that for not believing in Allah a man deserves eternal suffering? You believe that woman is worth slightly less than a man? Do you believe that a person needs to talk to the sky five times a day in order to receive blessings from an egotistical god? Okay.
My biggest problem is that he didn't say why. He burned a highly symbolic book, and as far as we know, he did it so he could have a swarm of reporters around him. If he was doing it in protest, he needs to clarify that or it isn't even protest, but a random book burning.
To get his fifteen minutes of fame.
hey guess what the same kind of shit is in the bible
Exactly. But at least the bible TRIED to correct itself with the New testament.
Exactly. But at least the bible TRIED to correct itself with the New testament.
Aren't Psalms and Proverbs in the Old Testament? Those are the best parts of the bible, and the most wise.

Infinite punishment for finite crime goes against all a good man should stand for. 2.) Read the Qu'ran. Wives have the same rights as the husbands have on them in accordance with the generally known principles. Of course, men are a degree above them in status . . . (Sayyid Abul A’La Maududi, the Meaning of the Qur’an, vol. 1, p. 165) Men are managers of the affairs of women because Allah has made the one superior to the other.
that's funny, because it doesn't say that in the Quran, stop believing everything you see on the internet
Okay you're in denial now. I'm not gonna argue with you anymore. Just read the book instead of lying. Thank you.
1.) Infinite punishment for finite crime goes against all a good man should stand for.
I thought babies who died without being baptized went to Limbo. And in Islam, a man suffers through his sins in hell and then he or she can get into heaven, however isn't hell the ultimate punishment in Christianity, where you will spend eternity being tormented?
Okay you're in denial now. I'm not gonna argue with you anymore. Just read the book instead of lying. Thank you.
i've read the Quran, and it's painfully obvious you have not funny how you and the Fox stop when you realize you have nowhere else to go
Prepare for unforeseen consequences.
i've read the Quran, and it's painfully obvious you have not funny how you and the Fox stop when you realize you have nowhere else to go
Instead of denying everything, it would be nice to back up your claims for once.
i've read the Quran, and it's painfully obvious you have not funny how you and the Fox stop when you realize you have nowhere else to go
I just stopped because I see no point in arguing with a raging lunatic.

Torah doesn't change the definition and neither does Christianity, even in the New Testament. The Qu'ran is unedited, but some preachers have said that it is temporary for Muslims.
It would still be nice if you could back up your claims JerryK.
To get his fifteen minutes of fame.
It'll all come to an explosive end when someone determines his identity.
Christians burning the Qur'an is silly, it's the same fucking book, same stories and same god. The difference between the books is the way things are percieved. Muslims believe Christ was a prophet or messenger rather than the son of god. They believe that Mohammed (another prophet). Even I know this and my knowledge of Abrahamic faiths is pretty slim.

Thank you sir:smile: Yes and as you said if we consider the New Testament to be a kind of revision that fixed some of the more bloodier aspects of the Old Testament, then we can consider the educated Islamic scholars and preachers' interpretations to be the revision of Quran, since it is unedited as you say.
What the fuck is that going to solve? Fucking idiot.
, he was arrested? I'm pretty sure his full name, address, and location will be on the NYPD's arrest logs and will be printed in the police logs of local newspapers.
, he was arrested? I'm pretty sure his full name, address, and location will be on the NYPD's arrest logs and will be printed in the police logs of local newspapers.
He got arrested for burning a book?
, he was arrested? I saw the police escort him from the crowd but I never saw them cuff him or anything.
It would still be nice if you could back up your claims JerryK.
what exactly do i need to back up? some guy who has never read the Quran copy pasted some random stuff from the internet and claimed it was in the Quran, what else do you want me to do? force him to read the Quran? not a single person in this thread has had any sort of evidence to anything they've said. it's been nothing but saying an intolerant, uneducated statement with no sort of back-up at all. [editline]01:12PM[/editline]
I just stopped because I see no point in arguing with a raging lunatic.
the intolerant hypocrite, who thinks the world would be more peaceful if religion didn't exist, calling me a raging lunatic :downs:

i already said they don't say that if someone is going to come on here and make a baseless claim, like the majority of people on here do, then i'm not going to go out of my way to find every bit of evidence i can to disprove them, when someone actually comes up with a good argument, with good evidence, i'll counter it with whatever i can. but when someone comes in here and is just an intolerant asshole about everything, and copy and pastes crap they found on the internet, tries to use big words they learned the other day, and insult me or my beliefs, i'm not going to take them seriously
The man went there to put his point forward. Islam needs to be stopped in it's tracks, it's not about religious freedom, it's about islam domminating our rights and freedoms. Say no to islam, burn their shitty book as they do the bible and the american flag and get on with your lives and say no to islam.
i already said they don't say that
Prove it.
Prove it.
what do you want me to do? go take a picture of the page? if you're so intent on believing that, go read the Quran and find out for yourself [editline]01:17PM[/editline]
The man went there to put his point forward.
