So basically, it was a time capsule?
10 pages of OMG!! and 3 pages of meh.
*Ahem*, 1912....
yes yes calm yourself
Well, it got stuff in it with dates from 1914, and 1930-something. Must have been opened several times before apparently, if it's from 1912
It was a newspaper from 1914 and some other documents from 1919, I think added by the same guy. 'Would kind of defeat the point if it wasn't.
So Violins. Do you guys enjoy this?
I liked the music
Well, it got stuff in it with dates from 1914, and 1930-something. Must have been opened several times before apparently, if it's from 1912
So... Then, it should be opened in 1914-1930?
maybe the translator got it wrong
*Ahem*, 1912....
Exactly.
Is there a point to watch it now?
Surprise or not, this is still a big day to Norway. Not just did we open this package, but we got the verdict of the person fighting against our values.
Welp, party's over I guess. We should let the ticker recover.
It would be cool, if the package was to be sealed for a thousand years until 2912. I wonder if the people in 2912 would understand what newspapers, letters and cloth were.
Then you would see wax marks from other resealing attempts.
What if it wasn't sealed in 1912 but only right before he handed it over?
Welp, party's over I guess. We should let the ticker recover.
They will return when they've gotten anything out of the package, also bagpipes.
Is there a point to watch it now?
If you're not interested in Folk music and history, not really.
Speaking of time capsules [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee/Osaka_Time_Capsule.jpg[/t] Time capsule at Osaka, supposed to be opened in 6970 :v:
Maybe something is buried under the memorial on that picture?
just got here, was it boring as shit? I heard it was just a bunch of documents and a scarf
Is there a point to watch it now?
Click "7Ã…pningen starter / The ceremony begins"
his antique collection of jumbo-jumbo sized horse-dong dildos
*Pony Dragon Dildos*
just got here, was it boring as shit? I heard it was just a bunch of documents and a scarf
Pretty much for the second part of your statement. I myself found this interesting, charming and really really fun to watch, but that's just me being weird, I guess.
just got here, was it boring as shit? I heard it was just a bunch of documents and a scarf
Had a newspaper, a lot of documents and articles, paper and shit. Few banners, one from the king. Yeah, you didn't miss much.
just got here, was it boring as shit? I heard it was just a bunch of documents and a scarf
a bunch of amazing history that no one understands.
They're playing on goat horns!
:
That's what I call a glorious discovery!

Imagine how someone from 1900 would view us now? The leap from 2000 to 2100 is an exponentially larger leap because of exponential growth. By 6970...I doubt...that's just fucking ridiculous. We won't even be a biological species by that time. Far before that.

Then maybe another major discovery propels it forward again.
I'm still watching this. Half because I want to see if they mention any more of the package, half because of this amazing display of our culture. [editline]24th August 2012[/editline] After some Scottish music, they'll be presenting the content again!
