so how many times has kel-tec invited you for a free tour of their factory? because i am still waiting on that phone call.
Dude from a business context you generally want to show a potential customer the inventory and production process to ensure they know the quality. From a gun enthusiasts view it's also fucking cool to show off how your guns are made to people. Like seriously you are not only taking TMZ seriously but you're saying that when he knew someone was going to publish his picture in TMZ despite the fact that it would increase the backlash from the uninformed masses.
then why didn't he just buy a gun?
because he was offered a tour? if he asked for a tour and was given one I could see how he might be exploiting his celebrity status but the article implies that they asked him
then why didn't he just buy a gun?
Generally when you pay for something expensive you want to see how it compares to other products of the same class. It's likely he was seeing the quality of Kel-Tec products and he would buy them depending on if he found them superior to other options. Like seriously you are just doing some mindless bashing that would seem stupid to anyone who has ever shopped for something expensive.
because he was offered a tour? if he asked for a tour and was given one I could see how he might be exploiting his celebrity status but the article implies that they asked him
and he accepted. that's exploiting your celebrity status for personal gain.
how the fuck do you know that he shows no remorse I kinda doubt that he went out to buy a KSG thinking "man I cant wait to unleash 14 rounds of buckshot into some minorities!"
That was one of the big things in the trial actually. After he shot martian and was getting arrested he threw his phone to his neighbor and said "Call my wife and tell her I shot somebody" he said it really calmly according to his neighbor, like it was nothing
and he accepted. that's exploiting your celebrity status for personal gain.
Dude, do you even know the context of the decision or are you extrapolating bullshit from nothing? For all we know he could be doing a simple product comparison like I said.
and he accepted. that's exploiting your celebrity status for personal gain.
im really failing to see how accepting an offer made to you is "exploiting" ones celebrity status
Dude, do you even know the context of the decision or are you extrapolating bullshit from nothing? For all we know he could be doing a simple product comparison like I said.
That is like going to the Asus factory to try out a laptop when they have it at Best buy
That is like going to the Asus factory to try out a laptop when they have it at Best buy
yeah except for the fact that Kel-Tec guns are absurdly difficult to get a hold of (especially KSGs) and probably wouldn't be found in many, if any, local shops. also KT guns are made in Florida so I doubt the factory was a particularly long trip
im really failing to see how accepting an offer made to you is "exploiting" ones celebrity status
well it isn't my fault you are failing to use critical thinking skills to discern whether someone is consciously benefiting from killing people or not.
That is like going to the Asus factory to try out a laptop when they have it at Best buy
Ignoring the lack of readily available Kel-Tec authorized dealers and the small production runs you still want to know how something is put together if you are going to spend a shitload of money on it. It's also possible that he was doing it because he enjoys guns and wanted to see how they are made [editline]23rd August 2013[/editline]
well it isn't my fault you are failing to use critical thinking skills to discern whether someone is consciously benefiting from killing people or not.
Are you ignoring the posts that actually refute you? WE HAVE NO CONTEXT HERE. It's a gossip article from fucking TMZ. All you are doing is making wild conjecture.
well it isn't my fault you are failing to use critical thinking skills to discern whether someone is consciously benefiting from killing people or not.
so he should turn down a benefit as completely trivial as a factory tour simply because the circumstances that made him famous were controversial? yeah that's pretty stupid tbh
well it isn't my fault you are failing to use critical thinking skills to discern whether someone is consciously benefiting from killing people or not.
it doesn't a critical thinker to understand that an article from celebrity gossip website is probably going to sound like celebrity gossip.
and he accepted. that's exploiting your celebrity status for personal gain.
you are literally trying to find any reason to hate him aren't you
you are literally trying to find any reason to hate him aren't you
I think he just loves playing devil's advocate a little too much.
you are literally trying to find any reason to hate him aren't you
killing a kid and not showing remorse is enough reason, frankly.

If I met Mr. Zimmerman, I would shake his hand too. What's your point?
killing a kid and not showing remorse is enough reason, frankly.
I didn't know you have a firsthand account on what happens in Zimmerman's brain. Traumatic stuff can have deep psychological effects that are not immediately noticeable.
killing a kid and not showing remorse is enough reason, frankly.
I'm sorry but are you a trained psychologist who has actually sat down and discussed it with him? People express remorse in different ways. Humanity is not a homogenous group of like minded people.
killing a kid and not showing remorse is enough reason, frankly.
I'm glad we have a qualified psychoanalyst on facepunch to tell us all exactly what Zimmerman is thinking.
I didn't know you have a firsthand account on what happens in Zimmerman's brain. Traumatic stuff can have deep psychological effects that are not immediately noticeable.
that's why i said he didn't show any remorse.
that's why i said he didn't show any remorse.
So you are insinuating that he is basically a sociopath? If so then I would absolutely love to see the credentials you have that allows you to discredit the court psychologists who obviously didn't deem him a threat.
I'm glad we have a qualified psychoanalyst on facepunch to tell us all exactly what Zimmerman is thinking.
If he was remorseful, I would imagine that he would maintain a better public imagine that would be more in line with that. He isn't.
So you are insinuating that he is basically a sociopath? If so then I would absolutely love to see the credentials you have that allows you to discredit the court psychologists who obviously didn't deem him a threat.
what does being a threat have to do with showing remorse? can anyone find an instance where he actually does something that shows any sort of remorse for his actions?
what does being a threat have to do with showing remorse? can anyone find an instance where he actually does something that shows any sort of remorse for his actions?
Again, what point are you trying to make by nitpicking every action he does for the past few pages?
what does being a threat have to do with showing remorse? can anyone find an instance where he actually does something that shows any sort of remorse for his actions?
Dear god you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. If someone kills someone and shows no remorse whatsoever he is likely a sociopath. The court would put him in psychiatric hold if that was the case. Also how about you find evidence that he has no remorse? The burden of proof is on you to prove your assertion.
what does being a threat have to do with showing remorse? can anyone find an instance where he actually does something that shows any sort of remorse for his actions?
It's been almost two years, he's not going to be castigating himself for killing someone in self defense any more.

"Hmm a photo of zimmermann smiling and a vague description of an event.... HE MUST SHOW NO REMORSE!!!!!"
