Wow you fucking took a single EXAMPLE from my argument and then ignored the rest.
Are you going to continue to cherrypick or are you actually going to stop being dense?
oh man i remember getting my picture taken with random employees at all the job interviews i went to.
People know him. If I saw him, I'd ask for a picture too with me shaking his hand.
um turn down activities normal people don't generally take part in because you don't want to be a celebrity for killing people?
OH god dude are you fucking stupid
So the dude who was proven innocent IN THE COURT OF LAW shouldn't be able to continue his life normally?
People know him. If I saw him, I'd ask for a picture too with me shaking his hand.
that is pretty dumb. why would you want a picture of you with george zimmerman? his only accomplishment was killing some kid.
People know him. If I saw him, I'd ask for a picture too with me shaking his hand.
Why would you want to get a picture of yourself having a handshake with someone who killed someone?
OH god dude are you fucking stupid

he isn't continuing his life normally, he is continuing it as a celebrity.
that is pretty dumb. why would you want a picture of you with george zimmerman? his only accomplishment was killing some kid.
I'm sorry but... are you autistic?
This is completely serious because you have some seriously jaded views on both society and social interactions.
that is pretty dumb. why would you want a picture of you with george zimmerman? his only accomplishment was killing some kid.
If saving your own life even is an accomplishment.
he isn't continuing his life normally, he is continuing it as a celebrity.
Do you have any proof of this?
Can you provide a clear CONCRETE example of him using fame for his "nefarious" purposes?

A good majority of people in the US think he should undergo another trial, or have dreams of killing him for retributive action. Don't you think it would make more sense for him to maintain a low profile?
um turn down activities normal people don't generally take part in because you don't want to be a celebrity for killing people?
Yeah let's just live in the past, sounds great.
"Hey George, want to go to the game?" Nah, sorry, I killed a kid.
"George! I haven't seen you since high school! Want to go get some lunch?" Nope, killed a kid. Sorry!
He is not actively seeking celebrity status. It's being forced upon him. I bet that TMZ ripped the photo straight from that employee's Facebook page.
Honestly, it's pretty disgusting that you feel the need to tell people how to live their lives.
If saving your own life even is an accomplishment.
so then why take a photo with him?

If he hides like these people want him to, those people have won.

yea strangers ask me to take pictures with them all the time it's totally a normal thing that everyday people do.

Florida is generally quite different from the rest of the US. Hell every place in the US is distinct from the rest of the US.
People are not homogenous. Statistics make for shitty arguments in regards to social interactions.
yea strangers ask me to take pictures with them all the time it's totally a normal thing that everyday people do.
And he isn't going to live in the past and tell the guy he can't take the photo because he killed a kid. What do you want him to do? Run around town, crying, swinging a flag that says "I KILLED TRAYVON MARTIN" (subtext: in self defense)?
so then why take a photo with him?
Because people know him and I respect him.
Seriously why are you making a huge deal out of this and what does posting one photo prove?

Oh my god dude WE HAVE NO CONTEXT ON THE PHOTO.
IT COULD LITERALLY JUST BE A FRIEND AT THE PLANT ASKING SOMEONE TO TAKE A PICTURE.
Are you fucking saying he shouldn't be allowed to have photographs of him smiling and shaking other peoples hand?
I'd like to get a picture with Zimmerman, too. It'd make everyone on my Facebook furious.

yawmwen is pointing to what the photo communicates, not because of the fact that it's a photograph.
yawmwen is pointing to what the photo communicates, not because of the fact that it's a photograph.
What exactly does the photo communicate?
That he can smile and shake someones hand?
You people are extrapolating bullshit from nothing.
yawmwen is pointing to what the photo communicates, not because of the fact that it's a photograph.
The photo only communicates that TMZ rips photos off of Facebook and writes shitty gossip articles. Way to buy in, though. If a photo makes you this furious it's time to take a step back.

They're trying to say Zimmerman loves gun companies because he likes to shoot minorities in his free time.
yawmwen is pointing to what the photo communicates, not because of the fact that it's a photograph.
That's all it is, a photograph. Mr. Zimmerman isn't walking around in a fancy suit with sunglasses signing autographs like he's Times #1. It's simply a worker who knows him and respects him asking to shake his hand and a photograph (which many people would want).
People express remorse in different ways. Humanity is not a homogenous group of like minded people.
Unlike the facepunch hivemind.
And he isn't going to live in the past and tell the guy he can't take the photo because he killed a kid. What do you want him to do? Run around town, crying, swinging a flag that says "I KILLED TRAYVON MARTIN" (subtext: in self defense)?
idk normal people don't generally like to be idolized for doing something that they are remorseful for.
idk normal people don't generally like to be idolized for doing something that they are remorseful for.
How the fuck is he contributing in any way to the idolization of himself?
The photo literally means nothing.
idk normal people don't generally like to be idolized for doing something that they are remorseful for.
The only person idolizing him is you as if he was public enemy #1.
idk normal people don't generally like to be idolized for doing something that they are remorseful for.
Making it through a trial where an entire country wanted his blood (and still do)?
idk normal people don't generally like to be idolized for doing something that they are remorseful for.
Yeah because clearly you know more than us and all he ever wanted to do is piss off half the US to the point of a constant flow of death threats.
Give me a break.
