The only person idolizing him is you as if he was public enemy #1.
Please tell me what level-headed person does somewhat (or outright) high profile things after doing the things Zimmerman has done?
all he ever wanted to do is piss off half the US to the point of a constant flow of death threats.
Sidenote: this is actually my life goal so let's not be too sarcastic here
Please tell me what level-headed person does somewhat (or outright) high profile things doing the things Zimmerman has done?
I didn't realize asking somebody for a photograph is high profile.
Yeah because clearly you know more than us and all he ever wanted to do is piss off half the US to the point of a constant flow of death threats. Give me a break.
I regularly do "high profile" things like taking a tour and getting a photo taken. Does that mean I want to be idolized?
I didn't realize asking somebody for a photograph is high profile.
It got publicized because of the attention around him.
guys i squashed a bug yesterday but was in a photo smiling with a friend of mine am i a remorseless human because of that?
It got publicized because of the attention around him.
And that's his fault how? I really doubt anybody gives a shit because the only people publicizing it is you. Also this:
Because the media made him out to be a white racist who killed a little kid. In reality, from what has been piece together, is that Zimmerman was attacked by a trouble making 17 year old who didn't make the smartest choice by bashing someone's head against concrete.

It got publicized because of the attention around him.
And you're making that out to be his fault. Do you not see how utterly stupid that is?
It got publicized because of the attention around him.
Obviously all the court photos of him are just his attempts at gaining attention then.
did oj simpson have a bunch of photos with strangers after his acquittal?

i mean he was a celebrity beforehand but did he really act like one afterwards? i thought he just sorta dropped off the radar.
And you're making that out to be his fault. Do you not see how utterly stupid that is?
It's not a question of whether I'm giving him attention or not, it's a question of him not erring on the side of caution and self awareness.
It's not a question of whether I'm giving him attention or not, it's a question of him not erring on the side of caution and self awareness.
Something is to be said about the people who vehemently despise Zimmerman expecting him to be a perfect human being, despite spewing unnecessary vitriol about him murdering an innocent flower of a child.
It's not a question of whether I'm giving him attention or not, it's a question of him not erring on the side of caution and self awareness.
The fact that he's at gun dealership is self-explanatory.
That was one of the big things in the trial actually. After he shot martian and was getting arrested he threw his phone to his neighbor and said "Call my wife and tell her I shot somebody" he said it really calmly according to his neighbor, like it was nothing
I'm pretty sure if you just shot somebody attacking you, you'd be in shock. Emotions don't really work when you're in shock like that. Adrenaline and many other factors could be keeping him from totally breaking down shortly after the shooting.
It's not a question of whether I'm giving him attention or not, it's a question of him not erring on the side of caution and self awareness.
I better become a hermit and try to not exist because some people on the internet with a holier than thou attitude will be angry at me for smiling once while I have spent the past year of my life going through absolute hell with the media actively hounding me trying to make me out to be a sociopath racist murderer because one night I thought I was going to be killed, and now I have to face the risk of family members and myself getting attacked or killed because of it. Seriously, what the fuck do you expect from him? To just die?

He could have at least not asked for a photo if he didn't want it to be propagated.
um that photo was taken BECAUSE he killed a kid.
You're really stretching cause and effect here. The KSG is expensive and fairly limited, I'd expect Kel-tec would offer people clearly interested in their products a tour if they were considering buying something like that. Yeah him being Zimmerman helped, but they see it as "we saved a customer, lets show him how we made it". Not "lmao he killed a kid, lets roll around the factory like fucking idiots for a bit".

He could have at least not asked for a photo if he didn't want it to be propagated.
Are you serious? You are a judgmental prick if you think that someone should hole themselves away for practically being bullied by the media, and that if at one point someone takes a picture of him and it is released then he is a unrepentant murderer. This guy and his family have to face the risk of being attacked or worse for the rest of his life and you complain about him appearing in a photograph.
All I'm saying is that Zimmerman should be more critical of how he represents himself and what he does, and I'm gonna have to say that I'm skeptical of how he feels towards things as well.
This guy should be more critical of living his life because I am the judge of how remorseful someone is.
All I'm saying is that Zimmerman should be more critical of how he represents himself and what he does, and I'm gonna have to say that I'm skeptical of how he feels towards things as well.
Yeah and everyone has room to improve themselves. Holding them to your own personal standards is just asinine.

oh yea what a shit
Yeah and everyone has room to improve themselves. Holding them to your own personal standards is just asinine.
It's absolutely sound and normal to believe that people have the capacity for self-improvement, but if Zimmerman was more honest about himself, then he shouldn't do something like getting a tour at a firearms factory, complete with a photo - this will only instigate people. Why didn't he just leave with their product and kept it simple?
idk i probably wouldn't want to be treated as some celebrity/idol for all the closet racists and gun fetishists out there after killing someone. [editline]23rd August 2013[/editline] but that's just me...
you are so far up your own snobbish, passive aggressive ass that you can smell the food you had for dinner last night
he shouldn't do something like getting a tour at a firearms factory - this will only instigate people
That treads rather close to "She should have worn something less risque".

Why didn't he just leave with their product and kept it simple?
He doesn't have to. This is only like his third "public" appearance since the rulings. The bar you have set is arbitrary because you and plenty other people don't like him. He also had no way to predict TMZ would gossip about the photo and I'm more angered about that than any other dumb shit Zimmerman did (and yes, I actually believe he has made poor decisions.)

As if the death threats weren't enough, he also needs to live the rest of his life without doing anything that could possible offend anyone, all because he was attacked and defended himself?
