why isn't there a new tech company, Microsoft, Apple, Ect have been around; prob cause of stranglehold on web and buying up bloomers.
When will the masses wake the hell up and demand an open and standardized platform on computing hardware? The sheep are killing me...
why isn't there a new tech company, Microsoft, Apple, Ect have been around; prob cause of stranglehold on web and buying up bloomers.
Lol new tech companies come around every second. Literally. Being a new AND succesful tech company? Then being so successful that you can remotely compete with juggernauts like Microsoft and Apple? That is no easy feat anyway you look at it.
This worries me as ~the it guy~ since some of my tools absolutely require legacy support, and I get the feeling that I'm going to have a lot of units in repair that I'll no longer be able to run them on.
The BIOS legacy support was never a requirement for allowing Secure Bot to be disabled. The Surface Pro series has a UEFI without legacy support , but still has the option to disable Secure Boot, for example.

I want to see like a Bittorent OS (they seem to be working with/advocating for musicians and creative works). Plus, they have a bunch of new cool/useful tech tools using peer to peer communication.
