A lot of liberals nowadays treat the Right like some group of subhuman idiots. Bipartisanship will never fly in this country because both sides are to dense to admit that the other side probably has some good ideas.
Liberals don't think that listening to the opposing party's ideas is going to land them in hell. That's the difference. But yes, closed mindedness is a problem on both sides. Although I can honestly say the right very rarely has any insight that isn't completely backwards. And I realize that too sounds like bias, but I don't feel like dredging up tons of pointless proof as to the fact that I'm an open minded person, you'll just have to take my word for it. Or not.
See, you're doing it. Trying to blame the other side to set you off the hook.
I only said notorious. Not that liberals don't do it at all, just that republicans get more attention when they do it.
This woman is the one who ought to be watching Sesame Street. Jesus, a lot of conservatives nowadays treat the Left like some shady organization who wants to steal their kids and infect them with their homo agenda.
But that is truly what I plan to do. I don't see why people think I'm not running some shady organization who wants to steal conservative kids and infect them with my socialist agenda.
Honestly, who puts politics in kids shows?
Honestly, who puts politics in kids shows?
So parents watching the show with a 6 year old won't get too bored.
So parents watching the show with a 6 year old won't get too bored.
Some parents tend to enjoy the show just as much as their child does because the parent interacts with the child and plays with them. So really, some parents, become far from bored. Others, if not most, plop their kids in front of the TV and go off to do something else.
http://www.popeater.com/2009/11/06/sesame-street-dig-at-pox-news-backfires/?icid=main|main|dl2|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.popeater.com%2F2009%2F11%2F06%2Fsesame-street-dig-at-pox-news-backfires%2F Maybe the blogger should just sit his kids outside instead of in front of a tv, then there is no chance of television corrupting his kids.
While he's at it, maybe he should put on his "Bush's blowjob bitch" Tee-shirt and tattoo his face with "God Hates Fags", then walk around on his front yard while simultaneously quoting scripture very loudly. I'd give him ten seconds to live.
Is it just me or is it really only conservatives that talk about the left brainwashing their children.
Major butthurt detected.
Is it just me or is it really only conservatives that talk about the left brainwashing their children.
OH, THE IRONY! Yes. Yes they do. The same conservatives that want the Creation story to be taught in Science class. The same conservatives that are distributing modified copies of The Origin of Species slandering Darwin.
Big Hollywood, the celeb blog founded by conservative writer Andrew Breitbart, called out the old skit (re-run this week) as a jab at the mega popular news network.
Am I the only one who's never heard of this blog or something? And they call it a 'mega-popular news network' which is funny.
Yeah, because everyone knows the left are all dangerous commies.
Am I the only one who's never heard of this blog or something? And they call it a 'mega-popular news network' which is funny.
They're talking about FOX..
I love Sesame Street now.
So basicly, Sesame Street is a better news program than FOX now. Not a shock.
So basicly, Sesame Street is a better news program than FOX now. Not a shock.
The Onion has more credibility than FOX.
I love Sesame Street.
Is it just me or is it really only conservatives that talk about the left brainwashing their children.
The Conservatives say the left is trying to brainwash their children, the Liberals say the right is trying to brainwash their children. The political spectrum overall breeds stupidity. In all honesty, I think in this case there's a shitload of idiocy for all parts. And I'm fairly certain, as has been stated, that the trashy bit was because oscar lives in a bin.
They should have expected as much from a show created by The Gays.
It's fucking sesame street, who gives a fuck. People who make things are biased, big fucking deal, don't watch it if you're offended by an opposing opinion. Do what I do and laugh at it, get on with your lives, watch an hour of fox news or cnn or the daily show and be secure that you're opinion is the "right" one. When people are offended by bias, it makes me doubt their so sure about their views and need to hear things that back up their opinion 24/7 or they go off the deep end.
I'm not even convinced it was specifically targeted at Fox, they did call CNN the Garbage News Network It seems entirely likely they were just making trash-related puns on news organizations in general
I'm not even convinced it was specifically targeted at Fox, they did call CNN the Garbage News Network It seems entirely likely they were just making trash-related puns on news organizations in general
I don't usually watch sesame street, but isn't puns about garbage kind of Grouch's thing? Isn't he the guy who lives in a dustbin?
I don't usually watch sesame street, but isn't puns about garbage kind of Grouch's thing? Isn't he the guy who lives in a dustbin?
No, he lives in a garbage can. :colbert:
