1 year ago:
Purely political rhetoric. Stein is goofy but she almost assuredly believes Trump would be worse than Clinton when it comes to the environment. That said, the hope is that many people who just couldn't decide who was worse between Clinton and Trump get an education over the next 3 and a half years.
Holy shit

"We'll lose 6.5 million Industrial jobs..." HOW ABOUT THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD PROBABLY GET RAVAGED BY CLIMATE CHANGE? AND WHAT ABOUT THE BILLIONS OF OTHERS THAT'LL GET EFFECTED BY IT?
:terrists:
:bullshit:

Macron calls for US scientists to move to France and work to 'make our planet great again'
Trump has destroyed any legitimacy the US had left. The whole "American exceptionalism" thing has been derided for the longest time, but now any remaning political or diplomatic credibility you guys had has been obliterated.
American Exceptionalism was bullshit to begin with. It only ended up becoming a thing due to our position after WWII combined with our having a very large population. 90% of everything is shit, we just had a much larger pile of shit to dig through.
this is how some people actually think
"Having money in your pocket and bank account solves a lot of problems!" Yup, up until it can no longer solve your problems. Ie: Our ecosphere imploding because we were too stupid to care for it.
this is how some people actually think
Imagine being a walking parody.
realistically speaking, how many people would it take to storm the white house successfully? how many people would overwhelm the security staff? :v:

This country's politics are fucked. Good to know that there are other places in the world who appreciate education more than we do here. [editline]1st June 2017[/editline]
realistically speaking, how many people would it take to storm the white house successfully? how many people would overwhelm the security staff? :v:
I've always kinda' wondered what would happen if a mob of unarmed people made a point to storm the white house, like just climb the fence and walk straight across the lawn. Not shouting, not throwing shit, just... Quietly get up and do it. Would the security staff fire into the crowd? Like, this isn't a 'oh I wish it would happen' kind of thing, it's something that I've always wondered.

I'm not sure how he'll be on French domestic issues but he already seems to be a good voice for Europe.
The propaganda the official white house youtube channel is spewing is fucking disgusting.
realistically speaking, how many people would it take to storm the white house successfully? how many people would overwhelm the security staff? :v:
depends. are they using roman shields and shouting in latin?
The right person won in France.
Purely political rhetoric. Stein is goofy but she almost assuredly believes Trump would be worse than Clinton when it comes to the environment.
Well, she's mostly right through.
That said, the hope is that many people who just couldn't decide who was worse between Clinton and Trump get an education over the next 3 and a half years.
This their political beliefs and gonna respected no matter what. That last part is going make same people assumed you rather supporting authoritarian Reeducation camp for against status quo. And ironically against what the first amendment stand for.
Can Germany invade America and liberate us [editline]1st June 2017[/editline] Fuck Trump and fuck every single person who voted for him.
Well, she's mostly right through.
Do you think Clinton would have left the Paris Accord?
This their political beliefs and gonna respected no matter what. That last part is going make same people assumed you rather supporting authoritarian Reeducation camp for against status quo and ironically against what the first amendment stand for.
How can you possibly glean that from what I typed.
To the rest of the world: Push your leaders to punish the US, through sanctions or whatever. Do not be complicit.
France helped us once before, hopefully they can once again.

More power to him... vive la france. [editline]1st June 2017[/editline]
To the rest of the world: Push your leaders to punish the US, through sanctions or whatever.
Do you think Clinton would have left the Paris Accord?
Depends on what her fiscal backers wants back out or not.
How can you possibly glean that from what I typed.
I clearly understand but still, you don't shove people to your political beliefs and going mistaken you as authoritarian/regressive as result.

I'm gonna find a way to get this on my wall.

Democracy can deal with one bad apple, but not with almost half the country ecstatically riding the high of a self-glorifying revenge fantasy. It seems to have almost reached a level of religious fanaticism where these people believe the rest of the world is evil and has conspired against the USA. wants to take away their just rewards, tells nothing but lies. So they put their hopes and dreams in Trump, the prophet, who dares speak the harsh truth and knows the way to the promised land.

This is (I hope) a vocal minority. I don't think this is half of the country.

(oh, and possible meddling from Russia, but let's stay optimistic)
