The difference between Clinton and Trump is that even if both are bought by corporations Clinton would at least oppose them when it's most important to do so. The Democratic party has been supportive of preventing climate change for quite awhile now.

MA Gov Charlie Baker's response to the Paris Accord results.

At least he's not towing the party line on this issue. I'm interested in seeing what other governor's are saying.
That's one of the things I love about this country. Where the feds drop the ball, the states are free to pick it up and run with it.

These states make up a significant amount of our nations GDP, good sign that they are coming together to say "Fuck you Trump". Hope more states do the same

How did it get this bad? How are we regressing this far backwards as a species? Are our minds being poisoned from space by aliens? Undetectable disease that makes some portions of the population into mentally deficient drones? How long are we going to pretend that having these kinds of dangerous and harmful opinions is okay?

I'm fairly sure this can explained by poor education and political propaganda.

More like poor education and misinformation. Tactics that the GOP has been using for decades, and it's bearing fruit now.

This is what happens when you spend a few decades systematically deprioritizing and slashing education funding.
America is beginning to become too stupid to function as a democratic state, and at this point it's going to take a generation or two to fix if change starts now. The propaganda and alleged tampering by Russia are just opportunistic acts targeting this weakness.

"The feds" didn't drop the ball, Trump did.
I hoenestly believed that this was where Trump would draw the line with his asanine regressive bullshit but I see I gave him a grain too much credit.

You're delusional if you seriously believe Clinton would do a 180 on Democratic environmental policy. It was one of the big things Obama did as president. In any case

There is no way anyone could reasonably assume my point about getting an education was authoritarian or regressive.
Donald Trumps first legislative achievement: helping ensure the destruction of our planet. But MAGA right?

Ha. That's one of the bankers they always show being grilled in the senate hearing after the financial crisis.
he sure loves talking about how environmentally friendly the US is under his management
You know you've fucked up if the fucking CEO of Goldman Sachs has the moral high ground.
Fuck you trump

Theresa May has emerged from hiding to express her disappointment with Trump and confirmed the UK is sticking with the deal.

Well he never did specify what we were going to make America great at. Turns out he meant he's going to make us the greatest global embarrassment.

I refuse to believe that he is dumb enough to think the Paris Accord is about Paris itself, and he isn't just capitalizing on the average American voter being dumb enough to believe that themselves.

At this point
he could be as stupid as it's possible for a "functioning" human to be
You're delusional if you seriously believe Clinton would do a 180 on Democratic environmental policy. It was one of the big things Obama did as president. In any case
I just worried if she betrayed agreement in last minute or doing it when if she got elected as President.
But since she never got elect, We never know she will betray it or not.
There is no way anyone could reasonably assume my point about getting an education was authoritarian or regressive.
That what you sound like for some reason.
Did I just have an aneurysm.
Imagine being so preoccupied with spiting political rivals and lining your own pockets that you wilfully decide to fuck up the planet and potentially hand only God knows how many people death sentences down the line.
I mean it's been obvious from day one but Trump does not care about the American people, only himself.
You know, it sure is funny that Trump claims he is doing this to benefit the “forgotten people”. So he’s so concerned about people being forgotten?
What about the forgotten people in Flint, Michigan, dealing with a water crisis not entirely over yet?
What about the forgotten contract workers and employees he refused to pay? https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/
What about the forgotten people in rural counties and towns with failing schools, reduced to being open only four days a week? https://www.brookings.edu/blog/brown-center-chalkboard/2017/03/03/a-troubling-contagion-the-rural-4-day-school-week/
What about the forgotten women he “grabbed by the pussy” who were subjected to abuse and too intimidated to fight back?
What about his forgotten first wife, allegedly abused and assaulted because she recommended a plastic surgeon for Trump? http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/the-violence-of-donald-trump-w444012
Folks like Donald Trump don’t care about the forgotten people – they only care about using them as means to an end. They benefit from the “forgotten people” being forgotten so they can ascend to more power by stepping on the backs of the “forgotten people” they claim to care about. They *thrive* on using the “forgotten people” as costumers of their snake oil, keeping them complacent by telling them what they want to hear.
Oh, but at least he’s fulfilling campaign promises, is he?
What about his plan to develop a strategy to defeat ISIS within 30 Days?
What about his plan to label China a currency manipulator?
What about his plan to build the Wall and have Mexico pay for it?
What about his plan to “Drain the Swamp” with his Clean Up Corruption in Washington Act?
Donald Trump claims he is doing this to help the American people, but he stands against many.
Around 70% of Americans did not want this. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2017/05/most-americans-support-staying-in-the-paris-agreement/528663/
Elon Musk did not want this.
The Mayor of Pittsburgh, whose city he claimed to prioritize over the people of Paris, did not want this.
California, New York, and Washington among other states did not want this.
Ivanka and Jared did not want this.
Scientists did not want this.
ExxonMobil did not want this.
The Koch Brothers did not want this.
Goldman Sachs did not want this.
Bill O’Reilly (formerly of Fox News) did not want this. http://fortune.com/2017/04/17/bill-oreilly-vacation-fox/
Let’s broaden our view a little…
The Pope didn’t want this.
Germany, France, and Italy didn’t want this.
Fucking hell, even North Korea did not want this.
This isn’t Donald Trump doing what the people want. This is Donald Trump doing what Donald Trump wants. The fact that he is trying to parade this as an act for the people, by the people, is sickening and I wish his base would wake up to that.
