President Trump Makes a Statement Regarding the Paris Accord

I'd like to hammer in the point that both China and India 2 of the big contributors to CO2 are sticking by their agreement of the paris accord.
Not only that, but both countries are heavily investing in green renewable energy.
Everyone who's extremely angry right now, I encourage you to get people together and actually go out and protest. Lots of people are very angry right now, and this is how we show it.
Even on Fox News right now their discussion is basically saying "jesus christ what the fuck are you doing" because they're bringing up how it's risking all the American jobs in clean energy that are at stake.
So unnecessary of him to do this, fuck this p.o.s. We have no reason to drop out of this, no reason at all. Any and all reasons Trump could provide will literally be useless.
Think about all the booing he would get if he announced this in Europe.
Hoo boy

I wish this weren't so fitting. :disappoint:
signed out of desperation
Yeah, in desperation to keep the air breathable.
I don't think I can express into words how angry this makes me. All I can say is I hope Trump voters are happy they had a hand in destroying the earth.
Why is it taking so fucking long to get this dumbass out of office.

As long as Donald Trump has the magic (R) next to his name, don't get your hopes up in our hyper-partisan political culture.
Well if the rest of the world is truly committed to halting global warming and preventing the atmosphere from becoming dangerous to us, it's time to put the money where the mouths are. Summon the ambassadors, give them a slap around the ears, and send them back with sanctions. The USA is not indestructible, it mustn't be, you aren't dragging us all down.
That said, I imagine if she wins Theresa will be right at Donald's coat tails. Fuck.

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
Lets just take a moment to remember that the other two biggest polluters on the planet are taking huge steps forward on climate change and green energy, and that tbe world doesnt revolve around America. Don't think for a second that the rest of the world will let us drag them down with us.

The Paris Agreement only requires India to reduce it's emission by 4.10%, China by 20.09%, USA by 17.89%. If we don't follow along, there will be a noticeable difference. The majority of the signers are only required to reduce by less than 1 percent.

I think he means diplomatically.
From the BBC:
China’s Global Times has issued a particularly strong editorial, saying the US would "set a bad example" to the world if it chose to leave. "It will become the biggest waste of its diplomatic resources in recent years. It will show the world clearly that the US is selfish and irresponsible and weaken the US leadership of the world."
California Governor Jerry Brown tells the BBC that his state will continue to negotiate with the international community in order to alleviate climate change.
He says that California will work with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
New York media report that Governor Andrew Cuomo will announce his intention later today to uphold the state's commitment to the Paris agreement.

I hope he and his asshole cronies get life in prison for crimes against humanity.

I'm fucking done. I don't understand why the hell our government could be so openly uninterested in fulfilling its end of the social contract, but here we are. The chief political strategist is a fucking nutjob who believes that plunging the world into a massive conflict on the scale of WWII is the fucking way to go. instead of legalizing a product that has done *nothing* but benefit the states that have tried it out, Mr. Sessions wants to crack down on them for no other reason but to benefit the various ongoing political nightmares that are the prison + medical industrial complex. if that isn't a sweet enough deal for the average joe, don't worry, our healthcare is going to get fucked because our president thinks we aren't working hard enough while he fondles some hefty big-money balls on his constant adventures outside of his responsibilities as the commander-in-chief. People are dying because the vicious, cruel, insane rhetoric that was put on top of a fucking pedestal so then this conniving vomit-faced clown could grab his seat in the oval office. The lady in charge of education wants complete privitization so then she can solidify a fading religious social culture that has repeatedly demonstrated it's hypocrisy, brutality, and narcissism while trampling over the freedoms of just about fucking everybody else. There are towns that don't have CLEAN DRINKING WATER. There are communities who are being treated like complete animals for no other reason then the disgusting history of racial conflict. People are getting addicted to drugs not because of street dealers, but because of the same market that wants to snuff healthier alternatives because eww that's a street drug and that belongs to the hippies n' rappers!!! To top off this cake of piss, puss and vomit God's favorite simple leader is now leaving a deal that by departing it, we're fucked.

That second bit makes it seem like this is the point where the states start breaking with 'official' policy.

Maybe an armed coup would.
So Mike Pence is making the statement then?
Ah, forget it, he was just the hype man.

Agreement should be harsher tbh. Hopefully in the next few years much bigger emission reductions will be agreed.
That is some hella subdued applause, holy shit. :v:

His plan all along: make the US federal government so dysfunctional that states are forced to make decisions on their own terms, leading America to truly be state run.
