If they do that it will be a long time before even Wonga will lend to them, meaning they would have to run within their means, which would mean that they would have to cut spending far, far more.
They should just do an Argentina.
And no, I don't mean invade insignificant islands.
"Kids, Christmas is canceled."
"Hahahah, nice one, dad!"
"I wasn't kidding."
They need to bring out the Trojan Sleigh already.
Those cops are surprisingly unafraid of fire....
Greek christmas is in 7th of January, seeing that their official religion is Orthodox Christianity. Why cancel it now?

You can't just say "no" to paying such huge debts unless you're ready to go to war or something.
Hell if they even dare to do that the big-shots in the EU(which are the ones who lent the most money) could force the rest of the members to stop trading with Greece.
And if not that, nobody, ever, would lend Greece anymore money if they do that. Which would fuck them over even more.
Basically, Greece is fucked, one way or the other.
Wow, someone actually declared War on Christmas.
And here we though those people were all nutjobs.
[sp]Well okay, they still are, but this is just fucking HILARIOUS.[/sp]

Dood, what the fuck is this shit, you've been here more than 3 days, you know this kind of stuff is dumb as hell
I feel really bad for Greece, they're going around solving their problems in the totally wrong way. I have a Greek friend and she says they work like crazy. Minimum hours a day are usually about 13 hours, getting rid of holidays and making them work even more is not going to solve their problems!

Also how long has Greece been "screwed" in terms of years?
I think they've been screwed for two years?
How could anyone remain screwed for so long...

Screwed for about 10 years
The English Parliament did this once.
