The fuck.
Even if your not into animated films normally, do yourself a favor and check it out. Satoshi Kon is right up there with Miyazaki.
""The Hunt For Red October" available on July 1"
I thought that was already on there?
[editline]1st July 2014[/editline]
Yeah it is

then again, I'm in Canada. Maybe it isn't on the US Netflix.

Fuck yes.
Pretty happy to get the third season of Hell on Wheels, but there's only a few notable movies being added.
Wait, it had a sequel?
A couple of my friends were extras in it so I had to watch it a few times. It's fucking garbage.

Neat! What scene?
I was an extra in the Keanu Reeves movie The Replacements in the scene where the kicker punts the head of the KKK guy through the uprights. That was shot in the Baltimore Ravens stadium and my family went to be extras in the stands the day they filmed it.
I'd really recommend Gattaca. I had to watch it in Religious Education once, for whatever reason. It was the only movie I genuinely enjoyed being made to watch. Really, really good. And I didn't even know it was on. Fuck.
How does the movie lineup on HBO Go compare to Netflix?
Why can't they bring back Exosquad?
Hell yeah, Knights of Sidonia & City of God

man, the rocky films and spaceballs
just... man, what a shitty thing to see
Still no Archer VICE...
goddamnit.
I don't even know why they even bother to add really shitty b rank movies all the time.
Its like that kid you knew in school who would always turn in a half assed homework assignment and get an F anyway. Do it right or not at all.

It won't show up until that season is on DVD or the next season starts. That is what happened with the season before.
They're also removing the 2 best original ST films and adding one of the worst instead :v:

My 12 year old sister watches that shit, PREFERRING it over the good stuff. Consistently chooses B movies over the plethora of good stuff on Netflix, so it has an audience somewhere.
I do wish they would just ditch that shit because most people that slave over Netflix can't and don't watch that trash anyway. I feel like the resources might be better put towards getting licenses for worthwhile movies, but it's totally possible the streaming business works in unintuitive ways.

honestly, if netflix could, they'd get every single movie imaginable, but navigating tv/movie licensing is a pain and a half
if a show uses an actual song, netflix then has to go negotiate with that artist, because their contract usually is only for tv airing (maybe changed since the last time i checked with the advent of streaming)
(this is why the house MD opening on netflix uses the lame ripoff song, not the proper one)
It looks like a bunch of Bond movies are being removed too. Damn shame.
Quite a few leaving that I had on my list. Bummer.
But we're getting City of God, which might be the closest thing to a perfect movie there is.

I'm scratching my head wondering why they'd ever have to nix a public domain film from their library.
I'm scratching my head wondering why they'd ever have to nix a public domain film from their library.
I believe it's because it's referring to the 1990 remake.

I think I'm going to go storm the Netflix offices.
I find it hilarious how they remove Desert Fox and add Patton.
