No hope for my constituency, we've been Conservative for 92 years.

The Lib Dems got the "mosquito" machine switched off for longer at my local train station, and the local MP pushed for the council to give the little known band "Muse" a permit to play on a grassy area in my town.
Conservatives on the other hand have done fuck all.
The Lib Dems want to cut taxes, "bring back" social freedoms, and not be dickholes to people, what's not to like?

PR.
Awesome. I've been a supporter of the Lib Dems as long as I've had an interest in politics. It was great to see a sudden surge in support after that debate.

My town seems to be mainly Lib Dem. :v:
Thick as in arrogant or thick as in fat?
Thick as in arrogant or thick as in fat?
It's a double entendre...
Thick as in arrogant or thick as in fat?
Thick as in stupid.

No.
No.
american conservatives = lower taxes, prevent government control
so.. yes
They don't want to prevent government control. Quite the opposite in many cases.
Once more they are actually committed to using more green energy.
Lib Dems will waste so much money building all those Wind Farms instead of a few Nuclear Plants.

Don't try to translate American politics and British politics. It's confusing and doesn't work because they are completely different systems with different terminologies. "Liberal" and "Conservative" mean different things on either side of the pond.

Also I think I saw a poll earlier that showed the Libdems a percent higher than the Tories.

It might have been labelled wrong or something.
Conservatives came out looking the worst from the 2 debates so far so it may have been correct.

the tories are the ones who are not for socialism and are "moral" crusaders

David Cameron used to be PR guy at Carlton. Enough said.
Not really surprised in a way, after that televised debate thing.
lol Nick Clegg was the only one there actually answering the questions put forward instead of spouting shit about britains future while totally avoiding the issue, or telling anecdotes that aren't relevant and don't have a point
Nice, i hope the lib dems win.

No, just no.
Who are you supporting toxicpiano?
Nice, i hope the lib dems win.
But they support the European Union and the EU sucks...

:britain:
I bet his performance in the debate did that, at least partially. He did manage to have a vague, Obama-y change aura about him. I rather like the Lib Dems though, so this seems nice.
Lib Dems should run an ad like this:
"Liberal Democrats. Let's face it, you don't have many options left."
All of the 4 hung Parliaments in the last century led the government collapsing within the first year.
Who are you supporting toxicpiano?
probably lib dem. But I'm still kind of undecided, I need to see more.
But that guy really has no idea what he's talking about if that's what you're suggesting.
Thick as in arrogant or thick as in fat?
Arrogant.

I know my Dad's voting Lib Dem, he says that both Labour and Conservatives have been fighting with each other for so long that they haven't realised they've turned to shit.
Oh gosh I love these.
Cannot wait to see this shit go down just like how I was so excited over the 2008 presidential election.
