Exactly what i'm thinking, that and the fact that the British media are hell bent on turning everything in to a 'disaster'. Of course, they don't report all the successfull schemes such as transportation in london being faster and more reliable during the Olympics due to the measures but in place.
The fact of the matter is, negative news sells better than positive news.
