I quit, I wasn't trying to sound homophobic, I was just trying to state my opinion on DADT
It's not that your opinion is invalid or anything, it's just that by your logic, no one should ever express any part of their sexuality while serving in the military. Which, by the way, is practically impossible.
Instead of kicking gays out of the military, why don't we let the gays in and kick out the people who have a problem with it?
I wasn't aware that opinions could make someone dumb
otherway around
Dumb can make someone opinion?
Maybe dumb people make opinions? but that doesn't make any sense either
dumb people make dumb opinions
dumb opinions make people
This might turn out as complete turd but think of it like this:
As a straight man you would seek out a straight female, correct?
Right.
As a straight man you wouldn't actively seek company from a gay female, correct?
If this is true then why hell do you suppose a gay man would actively seek a straight man? He wouldn't, exactly. If a homosexual says something like "ooo, he's hot, I would ;)" He is not openly giving an invitation he is only complementing, you know that thing you can do to be nice. It's just overly sensitive people that see this as an invitation/initiation and over-react.
To have a law based around these mediocre assumptions is extremely humorous, yet sad.
By the way 'man' and 'female' can and should be interchanged for optimum effect.
You may be thinking "but straight men love lesbos", yeah, they do. But they don't go out trying to have sex with them and that.
As I suspected this turned out to be a little turd(ish) but I just wanted to say my 2 cents.

Hit the nail on the head there.
But if a gay person DID happen to go around hitting on all the straight guys it would fall under sexual harassment and that's something the military already has policies to combat.
Hey isn't the US arny fighting along side the British army? The British army that allows openly gay people?
Golly gee, I sure do hope being in close proximity to openly gay people doesn't affect the morale of US troops
Instead of kicking gays out of the military, why don't we let the gays in and kick out the people who have a problem with it?
Well there wouldn't be much left of the US Armies then.
'cept the Airforce of course.

You mean navy, right?
And besides, helicopter/gunship spam works in every rts I know of.
There is the don't ask don't tell policy. That's why it was made.
how do we expect men to protect our contry who r afraid of lady boys? epic fail
Shut up, I'm not saying that, I'm saying you should keep it quiet in the ARMED FORCES because it holds no position or importance IN THE FIRST PLACE, and it causes trouble because of bigots.
People do keep quiet about it but still get kicked out, I remember a woman got kicked out because A CIVILIAN told the army about her being gay.
And stop fucking acting like gay people can't control sexual urges, if anything, straight men can't, Just look at japan, a fuckton of women get raped by US marines or whateverthefuck stationed over there.

That's bullshit. I'm not saying that you're lying, but that is just wrong. She didn't even admit it herself? That's proof right there that this rule is fucked up.

Search fp for it, it was posted a few months back.
I still don't understand this marriage thing. Why do gay people want to get married so desperately, while the rest of society is becoming less and less entitled to get married, and they just rather live together without a paper? (My mother's uncle, for example, is 70, yet he and his "wife" aren't even married, and they've been living together for decades.)
It's only natural that the average straight man would feel uncomfortable doing things such as showering knowing that there are gay men nearby. Compare it to a woman taking a shower in a room full of straight men. You wouldn't tell her to just deal with it and stop being intolerant, would you?
Now, there definitely should be more tolerance. But you can't just force that into everyone, it's not a choice. It's something that people are legitimately uncomfortable with.

Gay men most likely won't pursue a guy they know is straight.
So, no, they don't have anything to worry about.
Why should they have to keep it to themselves?
Noone wants to know someone's gay.
There is a lot of homophobia in the world right now.
Strange...I thought that Fruity-Rudy was openly gay. (Hearts for reference)
It looks like the policy is so that men don't constantly fuck each other/make others feel uncomfortable. Look at this both ways instead of having one-sided views.

And again, fuck you. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you'll want to fuck everything all the time.

You're entirely correct on this. If you're a male, you want to fuck everything all the time. It's a natual instinct that's valid for any living thing. Which is why we keep males and females fairly segregated in the military. It's not a problem that can be solved with "YEA JUST DISBAND DADT!!!" I agree that gays and lesbians should be able to serve their country just like everyone else, and it's incredibly offensive to me whenever I hear about people like this who have served their country faithfully are discharged after years of service, often even though they're not the ones who say they're gay. I just don't think charging in and getting rid of DADT is going to help anything. There needs to be a serious committee that looks at this objectively on a logical level, not just a judge who looks at this morally.
